This is a 100% cotton Hanes Authentic Tagless T-Shirt featuring a soccer (football) player on the back both wearing the full Nigerian national kit and sporting a kicking motion.

On the front of the shirt is a decorated soccer ball that is depicted crashing through the Olympic rings (courtesy of the striker in the back) while the national flag waves proudly in the background. The underlying text "Get ready world. 08/07/08" complete the arrangement.

Please be sure to specify your size when ordering. . .

The bumper sticker has the words "Super Eagles" on a background of the national coat of arms. The Nigeria Football Association logo is displayed prominently in the upper right-hand corner. . .

We do ship internationally, and even offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for your convenience.

Religion / Re: Christian Songs by SKehinde(m): 4:58am On Mar 24, 2008
I remember the "Songs of Praise" hymnal that I had in high school. Did anyone else have to buy this book and bring it to assembly every morning when they were in grammar school?

For some of the songs in that book, I actually come close (not quite) to remembering the numbers.

No. 636 (i know it's in the 600's)
O worship the King:

"O worship the King, all glorious above,
O gratefully sing God's power and God's love;
our Shield and Defender, the Ancient of Days,
pavilioned in splendor, and girded with praise."

No. 397 (not sure)
Onward, Christian Soldiers:

"Onward, Christian soldiers, marching as to war,
with the cross of Jesus going on before.
Christ, the royal Master, leads against the foe;
forward into battle see his banners go!
Onward, Christian soldiers, marching as to war,
with the cross of Jesus going on before. "

No. 435 (probably)
Take My Life:

"Take my life and let it be
consecrated, Lord, to Thee.
Take my moments and my days,
let them flow in ceaseless praise.
Take my hands and let them move
at the impulse of Thy love.
Take my feet and let them be
swift and beautiful for Thee."

No. 555 (definitely)
Lead us, heavenly Father, lead us

"Lead us, heavenly Father, lead us
o'er the world's tempestuous sea;
guard us, guide us, keep us, feed us,
for we have no help but thee;
yet possessing every blessing,
if our God our Father be."

It's amazing shocked how many great English songs were in that book: Rock of Ages, Let us with a gladsome mind, Praise to the Lord, etc.

I could go on. . .
Food / Re: Do You Eat Your Vegetables? by SKehinde(m): 6:46pm On Mar 16, 2008
@op

It depends on what I'm having with the vegetables. If I'm eating fried or jollof rice (or any other non-white rice), I'll eat or mix any vegetable on the plate into the rice: broccoli, carrots, celery, scallions, peas, etc.

Also, on a sandwich or burger, I can tolerate many vegetables: tomatoes (I'm not sure but I think that that's technically a fruit), onions, lettuce, sauerkraut, pickles, etc.

But if the vegetable is just sitting there on the plate waiting to be eaten by itself, the only veggies I like are corn, beans, yams, and potatoes.
TV/Movies / Re: Review Any Movie by SKehinde(m): 3:49am On Mar 10, 2008
I didn't get a chance to see all the summer blockbusters and 3-quels that came out last year but I'm catching up on them now with my Netflix subscription (which I highly recommend, by the way).

300 (i know it didn't come out last year): Very little story to follow just action, action, and more action. And just when you think there's nothing more to see, "Look over there: more action!" Very graphic (pun-intended, because it was based on a Frank Miller novel), very violent, a total guy's guy kind of movie. It doesn't purport to be anymore than it is. Loved it.

Bourne Ultimatum: Brilliant. It does a great job of tying in the 2 prequels. The plot, just as twice before, holds water. Although, the makers of the film made Bourne seem almost indestructible with some of the crashes that he was able to walk away from. I liked the ending, though.

Pirates of the Caribbean, part 3: I thought the plot was a bit of a mess, rambling here and there, and a little difficult to follow (maybe one has to watch the movie 2 or 3 times to comprehend it). The action was nice and swashbuckle-ly, but nothing you hadn't seen in the film's 2 prequels. Overall, I thought the movie was decent, nothing to shout about.

Spiderman 3: The plot is not that complicated, so it's easy to follow and that's a plus. However, there were things that Peter/Spidey did that made me think, "He would never do or act like that."

As far as the action , I have to confess that throughout all 3 of these movies the CG-animated Spiderman never really worked for me. I've always thought that the maker of the movies should have relied more on motion-capturing in the swinging sequences. But that's just me and I digress,

I thought the ending was too inconclusive. Overall, I thought this installment was not as good as the previous 2, and I was a little disappointed.

Die Hard 4: I loved the first (about) 2/3 of this movie, then it fell apart a little bit for me.

The plot wasn't too complicated, though it was a little over the top and ambitious. But then the main bad guy does something bad to cause concern for Willis' character (not to give anything away) a little more than halfway through the movie. And in the back of my mind I was thinking, "If I was the bad guy and Willis had been a thorn in my side and foiling my plots all day, I'd have done far worse to him."

The action is very good (again, somewhat over the top). The stunts are great. However, the end confrontation and wrap-up scenes I thought were both a little boring and forgettable. . .
