FamilyWhy Jesus No Dey Arrest Rich Native Doctor In Nigeria by SKILLZ64(op): 6:17pm On Jun 24, 2025
When a pastor becomes a native doctor, or a native doctor becomes a pastor, there's usually one thing that stays the same — the person was not doing well in their former job.

Before we start celebrating a pastor who now claims to be a native doctor, saying “my ancestors called me,” let’s think about this — if that pastor had become a rich, successful billionaire, would he still say the ancestors were calling him?

Have you ever seen a billionaire pastor become a native doctor? No.

And when a native doctor says “Jesus arrested me” and now becomes a pastor, how come Jesus is not arresting the rich, successful native doctors?

Until rich and successful pastors or native doctors start switching sides, most of these so-called “calls” from ancestors or Jesus may not be true.

My experience in June 12,1993… That particular day is a day I will never forget.

---

My experience on June 12 1993… That particular day is a day I will never forget.

It all started when my mummy sent me to get something at The ITA OSIN BUS STOP

I was in Ogun State at the time, still in primary school. Early that morning, before the results were announced and everything turned upside down, mummy called me and asked me to quickly run an errand to the bus stop.

But that day wasn’t an ordinary one. Suddenly, chaos broke out. People were running. Everyone was panicking. Mummy started running up and down, searching everywhere for me.

Eventually, they found me hiding under an uncompleted building. I was so scared because the drought had already started, and everything was confusing and frightening.

That day left a deep mark in my heart. Even now, I still remember it clearly, even though I was just a small child in primary school.

This story is not for little children. If you're a baby of the 90s, kindly stay away. This is for those born in the 80s and those who grew up in the early 90s—you know exactly what I’m talking about.

If you’ve ever had a similar experience, please share it with us in the comment section. I would love to hear your story.

Thank you so much.
FamilyApplication For The Wrong Job - The Very True Life Story That Touches Heart ❤️❤️ by SKILLZ64(op): 8:04am On Jan 24, 2025
I’m here to apply for the accountant position,” said Tunde with fear.

Ada laughed bitterly. “You? Apply for a job here? Never! Go home and write an application for the wrong job instead!”

How it all began

Once upon a time, there was a boy named Tunde and a girl named Ada. They were very close and loved spending time together. They would laugh for hours, share snacks, and talk about their dreams for the future.

Everyone thought they would end up together forever. But one day, everything changed.

Ada saw Tunde talking to her younger sister, Amara, after class. They seemed to be smiling and laughing. Ada’s heart sank. “Is he dating my sister behind my back?” she thought.

She didn’t ask Tunde. She didn’t even talk to Amara. Instead, anger took over. That night, Ada confronted Tunde.

“How dare you betray me like this?” she shouted.
“What are you talking about?” Tunde asked, confused.
“Don’t pretend! I saw you with my sister!” Ada screamed.

Tunde tried to explain, but Ada wasn’t ready to listen. The fight grew bigger and bigger until they both walked away, leaving behind their once-beautiful relationship.

Years passed.

Ada’s life changed. Her father owned a big company, and she worked hard to become the CEO. She was now in charge, making big decisions and leading the company to success.

Tunde, on the other hand, struggled to find a job. Life wasn’t easy for him, but he didn’t give up.

One day, while flipping through a newspaper, he saw a job advert. Ada’s company was hiring an accountant. His heart leapt.

“This is my chance!” he thought.

On the day of the application, Tunde dressed in his best shirt and trousers. He arrived at the company gate with his neatly packaged application in hand.

As he stood there, waiting to submit it, a sleek black car rolled in. Tunde stepped aside, unaware of who was inside.

The car door opened, and out stepped Ada.

Tunde froze.

Ada’s sharp eyes scanned him, and her expression turned cold. “What are you doing here, Tunde?” she asked, her voice dripping with anger.

“I’m here to apply for the accountant position,” Tunde said nervously.

Ada laughed bitterly. “You? Apply for a job here? Never! Go home and write an application for the wrong job instead!”

The security guard looked confused, but Tunde didn’t argue. He turned and walked away, his head hanging low.

At home, Tunde sat on his bed, thinking about everything. “Why does she hate me so much? She doesn’t even know the truth.”

Then, an idea struck him. “If she wants me to apply for the wrong job, I’ll do just that!”

He spent three days writing a special letter titled ‘APPLICATION FOR THE WRONG JOB AVAILABLE.’

In the letter, he poured out his heart.

He explained how Ada misunderstood his relationship with Amara. He told her how much he regretted their fight and how their breakup had affected him. He even mentioned how qualified he was for the job, despite the pain of the past.

When Ada received the letter, she couldn’t believe her eyes.

“What kind of letter is this?” she said aloud. She read every word carefully. Tunde’s words touched something deep inside her.

She showed the letter to her mother, who still helped with the company. Ada’s mother smiled and said, “Invite him and Amara. Let’s hear the full story.”

On the day of the meeting, Tunde arrived with Amara by his side.

Ada sat in her office, tapping her fingers on the desk. When she saw them together, her anger flared again. “Why did you bring her here?” she snapped.

Tunde looked calm. “Because you need to see the truth,” he said gently.

During the meeting, Tunde spoke from his heart.

“Ada, this is Amara, the person you thought I was dating. Look closely. She’s my younger sister, not my girlfriend. You never gave me the chance to explain back then, and because of that, we lost something special.”

Ada’s face turned pale. She looked at Amara, who nodded and said, “Tunde has always been like a big brother to me. I don’t know why you thought otherwise.”

Tears welled up in Ada’s eyes. The truth hit her like a wave. “I’m so sorry,” she whispered. “I was wrong. I should have listened to you.”

Tunde forgave her. Ada realized how much she had hurt him and how her impatience had ruined their bond.

To make things right, she gave him the job, knowing he deserved it. From that day, they started working together, rebuilding trust and creating new memories.

Lesson Learned

This story teaches us an important lesson: always be patient and listen before jumping to conclusions. Misunderstandings can destroy relationships and cause unnecessary pain.

When something goes wrong, be calm, ask questions, and try to understand the other person’s side of the story. You might be surprised by the truth you discover.

One of VDM’s notable achievements is raising N21 million in less than 48 hours to build schools for Nigerians. His focus is on improving primary education by constructing new schools and employing young, capable teachers who are qualified for the job. This kind of initiative is crucial, especially in a country where public primary and secondary education is supposed to be the responsibility of the federal government, but often lacks the necessary resources and attention.

I pray that VDM will be able to carry out this mission successfully because it would make a significant difference in the quality of education available to Nigerian children."

Israel carried out another series of punishing airstrikes Friday, hitting areas in Beirut, Lebanon. They also blocked the main road that connects Lebanon to Syria. This road was being used by many people who were trying to escape the fighting.

In the night, bombs exploded in the southern parts of Beirut, sending thick smoke and fire into the sky. The explosions were so strong that buildings far away were shaking. In one neighborhood called Dahiyeh, people were seen running through streets full of broken buildings and destroyed cars. At least one building was completely destroyed by the airstrikes.

These attacks are part of Israel's effort to target the Hezbollah group, which is based in Lebanon and has been involved in fighting against Israel.

FamilyCalabar Family Issues After The Death Of My Calabar Wife by SKILLZ64(op): 1:05pm On Oct 07, 2024
Family issues after the death of my Calabar wife

Met at Lagos State NYSC Orientation Camp, Lagos, Nigeria.

After three months of courtship, she called me one morning to tell me that she was pregnant.

I asked her what her intention was. She said that because I didn’t have a job yet, she needed to go for an abortion.

I encouraged her to keep the pregnancy, telling her that I would love to meet both her mom and dad.

They both agreed that we would meet on a particular Sunday, which eventually happened.

I met her mom and dad.

Her dad became angry and furious with me for not paying her bride price. I promised that everything would be done as soon as possible and that I had a job.

A few months before the delivery, I got a job at one of the leading chartered banks in Nigeria, where I worked as one of their top managers.

On the delivery date, she passed away due to complications during the operation. After informing her parents, trouble started.

I was told I must go to the village with the corpse for a proper burial, not knowing they had an entirely different agenda.🥺🥺

All the expenses were paid by me.

On getting to the village, I was accused of using their daughter for rituals. 🥺🥺

It was a terrible experience for me because suddenly, both parents refused to accept her corpse and told my aunt that I needed to take the corpse to the village square myself for a night ritual.

🥺👁️😭😭

I was surrounded by elders, and they forced me to make love to the corpse if I claimed to have nothing to do with their daughter's death, which I refused.

Several things were done to me, including being offered Calabar water to bathe with and drink, which I rejected with all my strength.

My sister came to check on me and found me tied up with a rope.

I was overwhelmed with tears because there was no one to rescue me. After several struggles, one of my wife's friends in the village helped me escape, and I fled to Lagos. Since then, I have received many calls saying that if I didn’t do what they asked, something bad would happen to me within seven days.

Can somebody please advise me?🥺🙏🏻

Can ₦10,000 Feed Your for 7days in Nigeria

Today in Nigeria, things are really hard, but many people are trying their best, especially when it comes to food.

Even though they try, it’s getting harder for families to manage their money without giving up some things.

The price of fuel has gone up, and because of that, the cost of everything else has also gone up – from transportation to the food we buy.

Foods that used to be cheap are now expensive. It feels like every time you go to the market, prices have changed again! So, the big question is, how long can ₦10,000 really last for feeding in Nigeria

Many Nigerians are asking themselves this question. So, my dear Nairalanders, I want to know: how do you make ₦10,000 last for food, and how do you spend it? Let’s talk about it.

Hello, my wonderful Nairaland family!

I need to know if I’m the only one feeling this heat or if there are others like me out there. I think I might be spending too much, and I need some advice.

For the past few months, I noticed that every single day I spend close to ₦10,000 just to feed my family. It seems like a never-ending cycle.

You want to buy rice, then you need to buy cooking gas, and then you have to pick up something else from the market. Before you know it, ₦10,000 has disappeared! And I’m starting to wonder: “Am I not managing the money well like I used to? What’s going on?”

I have two boys, one girl, and my lovely wife, and feeding them has become such a huge challenge. I don’t understand if it’s me, or if the prices of things in Nigeria have just gone crazy.

Taking care of a family of 5 feels like an uphill battle, and I’m not even talking about other stuff– just basic food!

Now, don’t get me wrong, I love my family, and I’m happy to provide for them, but the way money seems to vanish these days as a result of high cost of living in Nigeria is scary.

Does anyone else feel this way? Or am I just overdoing it?

ADVISE

My Nairaland Family, seriously, any tips on how to cut costs without starving the family would be much appreciated.

FamilySEE HOW PRESIDENT TINUBU MAKE - SMOKED FISH - SO POPULAR IN NIGERIA TODAY by SKILLZ64(op): 12:03am On Oct 02, 2024
Right from the first day President Bola Ahmed Tinubu took office, Nigerians have found themselves on a tough journey with the cost of living becoming a daily battle.

The rise in fuel prices and the fall of the Naira against the dollar have made it extremely difficult for families, especially those with two, three, or even more children, to feed their households. This has left the middle and lower-class citizens of Nigeria struggling to make ends meet

In this article, we’ll explore how Nigerians are surviving these tough times, how the popularity of smoked fish (Eja Kika) has grown, and how the struggles of daily life have changed the way families eat and live.

The Rising Cost of Living in Nigeria

Since President Bola Ahmed Tinubu assumed office, the high cost of living has hit Nigerians hard. Fuel prices have skyrocketed, and the Naira continues to lose value compared to the dollar. This has caused a chain reaction, making transportation more expensive and putting everyday essentials out of reach for many families.

For the average Nigerian family, life has become a constant challenge. From transportation to housing and food, everything is more expensive. People are asking questions about how they will survive, as the salaries they earn can barely cover the basics. The government has not increased wages enough to meet the rising prices, so most families have resorted to cutting back on food and other essentials just to get by.

---

Struggles with Feeding the Family

Feeding a family has become a daily struggle for many Nigerian households. Families with two, three, or more children find it hard to put food on the table, and even middle-class families are feeling the pinch. The increase in fuel pump prices has made it more costly to transport goods, causing food prices to go up.

The cost of staple foods such as rice, beans, and meat has increased so much that families are turning to cheaper alternatives. This is where Eja Kika (smoked fish) has gained popularity. Smoked fish is affordable, easy to find, and has become a staple in many Nigerian homes as families try to make the most of their limited resources.

---

Smoked Fish: The Affordable Meal for Many

As the cost of living has become unbearable, Eja Kika has become a lifesaver for many families. Smoked fish, also known as Ajakika, is now a regular part of meals for the average Nigerian. It’s affordable, delicious, and can be used to prepare different dishes. Whether in soups, stews, or eaten on its own, smoked fish is a flexible option for families looking for ways to stretch their food budget.

For families struggling to feed their children and make meals last, Eja Kika is the answer. It’s not only affordable but also widely available in local markets. This makes it the go-to choice for both the middle class and the lower-income families who need to feed their households without breaking the bank.

-

How Nigerians are Adapting

In these hard times, Nigerians are learning to adapt and find new ways to survive. With salaries not matching the rising costs, families are cutting down on expensive food items and switching to alternatives like smoked fish. Even though life is tough, Nigerians remain resilient, finding ways to manage their resources and support their loved ones.

Many Nigerians have found humor in these difficult times, joking that President Tinubu has made Eja Kika the most popular meal in the country! Despite the hardship, there is a spirit of creativity and strength in Nigerian households. Families are finding ways to bond over simple meals like Eja Kika, making the best of what they have and sharing moments of joy during meals.

Okra Soup: The Most Popular Meal Helping Nigerians Survive Hard Times

In Nigeria today, life has become much harder for many families. Prices for things like fuel, rent, transportation, and food have gone up. This means that it’s difficult for families to buy enough food, especially for those with many children. But one meal has helped a lot of families during these tough times – okra soup.

Here, we will explain why okra soup has become the most popular meal for Nigerian families and how it helps them survive in this hard economy.

1. Nigeria’s Daily Struggles

Living in Nigeria is harder now because prices for fuel, rent, and transportation have all gone up. Everything costs more, and families don’t have enough money to live comfortably. For many families, this means there is less money left to buy food, and feeding a large family has become a real challenge.

2. High Cost of Living

The cost of living in Nigeria is very high now. Prices of things like food have increased, but people’s earnings have not. The high price of fuel means it costs more to travel, and rent has become too expensive for many families. Because of this, families must spend less on food just to keep up with other costs.
