You can blame Azpi or Zouma but the fact is we have a coach who only understands one phase of the game and that’s the attack and he has a rudimentary understanding of that. Lampard’s Chelsea has an inability to control matches and that gives even a weak side like Sheffield a chance God help us when we meet Man City. Our defense is set up to fail in Lampard’s "system" .

My guy, as much as there are things to be positive about, there are lots of negatives in this Lampard set-up. The players easily let off steam bar the Super-Cup match. Jorginho who is expected to be the control center of the team is so weak and frail. This team isn’t balanced and as the season progresses, we will suffer for it wether we are playing a top side or not, it will show; it’s like a deficiency.

We aren’t experimenting shiit. Lampard better know this

When defending lead, there are many ways to compensate for Kante absence.

I personally think Azpi can sit in front of back 4. He has the technique, discipline and the doggedness to keep minimum space between him and the back 2. He showed some of that technique in Conte's first year when he ran our passing game from the defence. He done cast for footrace pace to play RB, but I have little doubt he can sit in front of defence and keep it tight.

When defending a lead, Mount and Jorginho should always be the first to get hooked for a situation like this.

Another option is shift Tomori to rightback and play Reece James as DM. He played half his games there for Wigan.

Jorginho’s issue is eternal. No baptism can save that guy from being a short one for us. Azpi don cast wella.i Just pray this isn’t a replay of Ivanovic’s last season horror display.

Don’t you think something is actually wrong with the teams play during the 2nd half? Lost of concentration? Lack of fitness? Just what?

Truly eh, I prefer Mount starting. Dude has eyes for goals and that among many is what we want this season. If he needs to visit the gym to last longer on the pitch, he should ASAP.

I would.always take.off Mount at 70mins cos he offers little resistance from that point.
