You are talking about lands and houses in Ukraine and Palestine, what about human lives? Parent invested heavily in training their kids, but so many of them lost their lives and that of their kids to horrible deaths. Businesses that took decades to grow were all shattered within the twinkle of an eye. In war your own life is not safe, let alone real estate investment. Land is scarce and finite which makes it a valuable asset.
