Popular hollywood filmmaker, Tyler Perry has officially joined the prestigious billionaire’s club.

Tyler’s net worth just jumped and made him the newest official member of the 3-comma club, according to a new Forbes report detailing his rise from being “poor as hell” to rich and powerful.

According to the publication, Perry has taken in $1.4 billion in pre-tax income since 2005, and is currently worth $1 billion in total.

Tyler achieved this feat as a result of his shrewd business prowess, and the fact that he owns 100% of everything he creates. This includes a bevy of TV series, dozens of films, and multiple successful stage productions.

His largest source of wealth, however, comes from his library of film and TV media rights, valued at $320 million.

Recall that when Perry had his first play, it only sold 12 tickets, and he had to sleep in his car because he didn’t make enough for his rent.

Nigerians are having a field day over the possible revelation of the face behind one of Nigeria’s popular social media blogs, Instablog9ja.

In what seems to have been a mistake, the blog mistakenly went live on their official instagram account, and a face that showed, shouted “Jesus” and immediately went off the live video.

Though the individual was on for only a few seconds, eagle-eyed netizens were able to make a snapshot of the person who appears to be a middle aged woman.

Reacting to the situation, the blog on their Twitter page, tweeted,

It was bound to happen at some point. In the end, live goes on. Red heart. Enough said.. Instablog9ja Instablog

Twitter has gone wild with people’s reactions and comments about the incident. Some people are saying the woman’s life is at risk because of some sensitive posts she has made about certain celebrities in the past.

However, there are speculations that it could have been an intentional stunt because a brand like instablog shouldn’t make such a mistake.

Big brother Naija ‘housemate’, Ozo has won this week’s Head of House games.

The game was keenly contested and it appeared Nengi would emerge the winner but when Ozo’s game time came, he scored the highest point of the game.

Vee also came close but the clock ran out on her.

Ozo has now received immunity from this week’s eviction and will enjoy exclusive access to the head of house luxury lounge.

This will be his second victory at the HOH games.

We have seen and witnessed seasons of the Big Brother Naija with housemates that have wowed us with the level of Intelligent Quotient. It is agreed that not everyone is intelligent but the few on this list are definitely of the scholars’ world.

1. Bisola Aiyeola (Bisola)

This multi-talented personality that graced the second season of the Big Brother Naija show is in no doubt an embodiment of vast knowledge. Her experience of both the sweet and bitter parts of life really built a tutor that could school you on real-life situations. Bisola is an actress, Television presenter and singer.

2. Omololu Shomuyiwa (Lolu)

This guy was literally referred to as the encyclopedia of the Double Wahala edition of the show. His conversations were always seasoned with wisdom as you are sure to learn something new from him every time he speaks. Outside the House, Omololu worked in the corporate world of banking and media.

3. Tobi Bakre (Tobi)

Tobi, who is currently ruling the world in the movie industry and across, was a goal-getter in the House. Before he got into the Season 3 show of BBNaija, he worked as a banker and showcased his level of intelligence while on the show.

4. Madu Jackye (Jackye)

Jackye featured in Season 4, Pepper Dem. She is a true definition of “Women dominating the world” as she is a professional Software Engineer. She once led her team to win a contract to build a Fintech app for one of the top technology companies in Africa. While in the House, she showed no less of her lioness spirit.

5. Olamilekan Agbelese (Laycon)

The intellect of the Housemate who is nicknamed Laycon in the ongoing Lockdown edition is undoubtedly a force to be reckoned with by the knowledgeable. Laycon studied Philosophy from the University of Lagos. Whoever knows that course and the Nigerian Universities would understand that it is a daunting field of study and Laycon did not just graduate but finished with a very good grade of Second Honours (Upper Division). And times and times again, he has proven his intelligence through his conversations in the House.

An added bonus to this list is Prince Ewerem. Prince has been gaining momentum in recent days by the viewers of the ongoing Season 5. We are still accessing.

Laliga giants FC Barcelona have appointed Ronald Koeman as their new head coach after the sacking of Quique Setién.

Confirming the news on Tuesday, Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu said: “Ronald Koeman will be the new manager of Barcelona. He will lead the project.

“We bet on Koeman because of his experience, and that he believes in the Barça philosophy.”

Koeman comes in to replace Setien who was shown the door on Monday following their embarrassing 8-2 defeat to Bayern Munich over the weekend in the Champions League.

The new assignment means Koeman leaves the Netherlands national team job, which he had been overseeing since 2018.

Meanwhile, Bartomeu added that Lionel Messi won’t be leaving the club after the Argentine was linked with a move away. In the interview, the club president also confirmed that they had stopped negotiations with Inter for striker Lautaro Martinez, youngster Ansu Fati wasn’t for sale and that PSG was not willing to sell Neymar.

“Messi wants to end his career at Barça. I regularly speak to him and his father. Messi will stay here. Neymar back to Barcelona? PSG don’t want to sell him on this summer. We’re not in talks for Lautaro Martinez right now, we’ve stopped the negotiations with Inter at the end of June. We’ll see what will happen”

“We have offers for Ansu Fati, but he is not for sale. We are going to sell some players this summer because it’s time for a pay cut and to start a new project for Barcelona,” he added.

Popular Nigerian socialite and supposed BDC operator, Ismaila Mustapha, aka Mompha, was rearrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over alleged money laundering. (Read here)

Mompha has now asked the Federal High Court in Lagos to compel the anti-graft agency to pay him N5m for what he termed his “unlawful re-arrest and detention.”

In the suit filed by his lawyer, Mr. Gboyega Oyewole (SAN), on Tuesday, Mompha prayed the court to declare that his re-arrest and detention by the EFCC was unjustifiable and unlawful.

He is equally urging the court to declare that the continued seizure of the items violated his right to own property under Section 44 of the constitution.

He is praying the court to order the EFCC not only to free him but also to give him back the seized items and pay him N5m damages.

The court has yet to fix a date to hear Mompha’s N5m suit.

1. Making Snorting Noises And Grunting Loudly

We get it. You're a tough muscleman. But nobody cares. Everybody is busy trying to drill some muscles too. Stop causing unnecessary distractions.

2. Going To The Gym With The Same Sweaty Clothes Everyday

This is a sanctuary too you know. People are here to get transformed. Wash your clothes when you're done. Nobody wants to work out next to a stinking hominid.

3. Texting At The Gym

I've seen guys at the gym who are constantly on the phone. They will pile up a stack of plates, sit on them, and then get busy on the phone, texting, taking selfies, and more.

Yo, bro! This is a gym, not a Hollywood scene. You're inconveniencing some people by barring them from using those pieces you're seated on.

4. Giving People Unsolicited Advice

Let's get something clear. You're a gym member, just like everybody else; not a personal trainer. Unless somebody asks you for help, it's totally inappropriate and a little rude to start throwing rectification suggestions out of the blue.

5. Sweating All Over The Gym Equipment

Gym equipment is meant to be shared. How would you feel if the person preceding you on that weight-lifting bench left it all sweaty and gross? I thought so too. So do some cleaning here and there once you're done. Nobody wants to swim in your sweat.

6. Struggling To Use A Machine Based On Guesswork

Asking some basic questions on how to use a machine doesn't make you a fool. What's foolish is ending up with an injury just because you were too egotistical to ask.

7. Staring At People While They Work Out

It doesn't matter how huge their muscles are or how enthralled you are. Just don't gawk! It is off-putting to the subject and also a little creepy.

8. Never Adjust Your Nuts While Everyone Is Watching.

Never! I have nothing else to say about this one. It is self-explanatory.

9. Checking Your Abs In The Mirror

Some people check their abs in the mirror after every damn set or lifting their shirt, pretending to wipe off sweat on their face but desperately hoping that everybody will notice their abs.

In all likelihood, everybody in there has a pack on their chest that they can flaunt. If we all decided to lift our shirts, the gym would look like a gay bar.

Working out at a commercial gym can be quite awesome - if not exhilarating - and avoiding the above things mentioned would make working out there all the more pleasant.
