GOAL - Aston Villa 0-3 Manchester Unit
Paul Pogba (58 mins)
Cheers, Paul.
Pretty immaculate stuff from Paul Pogba!
Manchester United pick Pogba out in the D from a
corner, he's got space and takes one touch befor
nonchalantly bending a 20-yarder around a Villa
defender and into the bottom corner. |

CLOSE!
Aston Villa 0-2 Manchester United
Well he won't get a better chance than that to score
for Manchester United. Marcus Rashford chops
inside on the left of the area and puts in a dream of
a cross, Aaron Wan-Bissaka gets there at the far
post but heads it wide from about four yards out. |

Wauters: Shocking decision on penalty. No touch,
attacking player jumps into defender, foul attacker.
Basic rule.
Seth: Last week a penalty was given against Man
United when the ball hit the shoulder of Bailly
outside of the 18 & VAR didn't change the decision.
There have been some strange decisions this
season & this penalty tonight is one of them but
things will change next season |
That makes it divisive doesn't it, if you think it
wasn't a penalty and yet it was given... |
Second_half. Under way. |
Wetin this one dey talk 'I can understand why it was given' HT: Aston Villa 0-2 Manchester United Robbie Savage Ex-Wales midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live I can understand why the penalty was given for the first goal but then the second goal on the counter- attack, Mason Greenwood: what a talent, what a strike. They deserve the lead. United look very good. |
Aston Villa 0-2 Manchester United
Mason Greenwood has nine Premier League goals
this season. Only three players have scored at least
nine PL goals in a single campaign before their
19th birthday: Michael Owen (18 in 1997-98, 9 in
1998-99), Robbie Fowler (10 in 1993-94) and
Wayne Rooney (9 in 2003-04) |

Imti Jamir: Ceballos is taking controlled of the
midfield. I do feel Leicester are unlucky with the
Iheanacho's goal decision but arsenal should be 3
up by first half. Brilliant football from Gunners so
far.
Abid: Leicester are not the same without Maddison
and Chilwell and remember Ricardo is missing too.
Three absolutely key players. Justin just doesn't
seem good enough yet and Albrighton seems out of
place on the left.
Amrul Choudhury: Leicester will snatch your hand
off for a point here and 3 points against
Bournemouth at the weekend. |
Eddie: Ceballos bossing our midfield like a man
possessed so far in this 1st half.
Reuben: Arsenal could sneak into the top 5 in the
worst season of there history |

Paul: Love Saka and Aubameyang but what goes
unnoticed is that a lot of our good play usually
comes through or starts with Ceballos. He set Saka
away for Saka to set the goal up. Mad if we don't at
least try keep him.
Dan Bell: Leicester waving goodbye to top 4. Does
anyone still think this team is better than title
winning side? |

DISALLOWED GOAL
Arsenal 1-0 Leicester
There's not been much attacking from Leicester
since the opener but the visitors think they are level
when Jamie Vardy's cross is volleyed in by Kelechi
Iheanacho but the flag is up on the far side.
Offside? Vardy wasn't but looks like there was a
pull back on a Foxes defender in the build up/ |
Willian has had a direct hand in a Chelsea goal in
four consecutive Premier League games for the very
first time (4 goals, 2 assists).
Since the restart of the competition in mid-June, no
player has been involved in more goals than the
Brazilian. |

GOAL - Crystal Palace 1-2 Chelsea
Wilfried Zaha
WOWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!
WHAT A GOAL, can you tell??
Crystal Palace looked down and out but drag
themselves back into the contest courtesy of a
Wilfried Zaha thunderbolt which almost breaks the
net.
The ball runs free for the Ivory Coast international
30 yards out, he takes a touch and only has one
thing in his mind, smashing an unstoppable finish
which drifts high into the roof of the net.
Kepa Arrizabalaga had no chance. |

Liverpool 0-0 Aston Villa
Villa continue to dig in and frustrate Liverpool. Every
time the Reds try to get up a head of steam, the
visitors stick in a boot, charge them down or harry
a mistake. Really impressive stuff. |

SUBSTITUTIONS
Liverpool 0-0 Aston Villa
Three changes for Liverpool and it is the trio left out
from the City game coming on. Roberto Firmino,
Jordan Henderson and Georginio Wijnaldum on for
Origi, Fabinho and Oxlade-Chamberlain. |

Liverpool 0-0 Aston Villa
Virgil van Dijk drops a clanger before then coming
to the rescue. Villa are away after the Dutchman
loses the ball on halfway. The visitors make it into
the box but before they can get off a shot, across
comes the big centre-back to tackle. |

Is Jordan Henderson the man coming on? He has
just been picked out by the cameras tying his boots

Liverpool 0-0 Aston Villa
For a second it looks like Villa are in. Grealish
collects the ball and lashes a shot that Alisson
palms away. Before we can find out if a follow-up
touch is coming, play is halted for a linesman flag
for offside against Grealish. |

Liverpool 0-0 Aston Villa
Oh, almost something. Alexander-Arnold whips in a
cross that flies past Salah's outstretched boot,
between a host of players in the box and just ahead
of Sadio Mane. |
HALF-TIME
Liverpool 0-0 Aston Villa
Liverpool's first 45 minutes at home as champions
has not been a showcase for what they've done to
attain that status.
Jurgen Klopp looks frustrated. Dean Smith will be
pretty happy, though. His side have given him
plenty. |
I really hope Klopp is using these games to wor
out what positions need improving. Origi is painf
to watch, I like Ox but we need a 'de bruyne' who
can split defenses apart so we don't rely on the
wing backs every game. This talk about not need
anyone is rubbish, there has to be competition in
the squad.
Adam, London Liverpool fan |
Angelfrost:U are right |
Despite predominately playing through the middle
today Divock Origi hasn't had a single touch in the
Aston Villa box or in line with the goal so far.
He's also had the joint fewest touches for Liverpool,
alongside keeper Alisson.

Liverpool 0-0 Aston Villa
The delivery for the corner is a good one, right into
the mixer. But despite a host of bodies, Alisson
gets a fist in there to knock the ball away.
Villa regather and come again for an attack that
ends with a low angled effort from El Ghazi that the
Reds keeper saves. |
