I’m in general agreement. And as far as actual intent to ruin a guy there are those women that use marriage as a payday. There was a women (forgot name, years ago). That put on seminars on how to marry the first time for money and a baby then divorce, then marry someone for love. So the abuse of no penalty divorce is common, and even planned.

So now we know that any prolonged dating can make you pay, and even long gone ex can get you money after 20 years. So that’s why Mgtow

But how about the average dick and Jane. I worked in a job with high security that required men that wanted to marry had to request it and be question about it (industrial espionage). I’ve never had a guy say, yes I know she will eventually marriage rape me, leave me brook, homeless and
Lossing my kids through parental alienation. They all say “my Gertrude isn’t like that, she would never try to destroy me”. Over half will be wrong. To give women some credit I’m sure most actually believe that. Statistically you will do something or say something that will flip the switch and out comes the hidden monster.

Deep down we know we are disposable, 200,000 years of selective breading my women, and nature the tribal man will defend and provide. Men took 3x longer to register emotional reactions and once felt were lower in amplitude than women. This can be explained by tribal life. When a warring tribe attacks or a Sabre tooth can attacks the reaction by women emotional is fast and they run and if they have kids they will run hide with them, meanwhile men are running ito danger to delay or turn aside the threat. If a man register feelings like a women he to would run away. And the old joke of outrunning the bear but just have to out run you would see the tribes future fertility and children wiped out. So men will sacrifice themselves to protect women. Kill half a tribes males and the tribe will survive. Loss the women and its game over. And at one point there was perks to our shortened life expectancy, sex, children and so forth. That’s gone. Men still have the evolutionary instinct to provide and defend but there is no perks, in fact it’s high risk to do any of that in today’s world. Marriage is a one sided contract that women get to edit at will. It’s a fool’s errand. Living together, depending on the region you will be assumed common law and pay support. But in the last few weeks we saw a Ontario couple that had never lived together, not married and because the rich guy treated her so well, (paid her mortgage, gave $ high end vacations). He now must pay over 50,000 a month to his ex girlfriend. That president will see men declining to even date or have a girlfriend since it’s now the same high risk low reward marriage and common law. And if you do start dating then Dutch it is. Any amount of treating a girlfriend well can make you pay support.

To top it all off a UK guy broke it off with wife, divorce. And they had no real money so the split was minor. Over 20 years later the guy worked his ass of and was now a multimillionaire. The ex sued. She somehow thought she should get a payday even though he had no money at the divorce and made it all after they ended the marriage. Insane right? Nope apparently not they ruled in her favour and he paid out huge.

The question is not why men go Mgtow it’s why do some still fall into the trap.
