getencored: Sorry I'm just replying since Jan. Actually you don't need legalisation to get your visa. If you can get admission without legalisation, you can get your visa without legalisation. Legalisation is still very important sha. May I know why the legalization of documents is still important after getting a visa without it |

MilesLamar: I moved from xiaomi phones to pixel 6a and so far so good...aside from the camera omo I miss xiaomi man...can you imagine you can't use multiple audio options? Na wa oh Lol, you will definitely still enjoy it. When I bought 9 to XL using Xiaomi 12 pro as a second phone, I almost sold my pixel with 3 days. Now, it's the best phone I have used and even in the market. The only thing I missed in the phone, is the flexibility of Xiaomi regarding themes and alot. |

fuckboys: it just seems you xiaomi fans are either running mad or you're just catching cruise.
Your 12 pro can't even go head to head with pixel 7 pro not to talk about pixel 8 pro.
And you're comparing xiaomi 12 pro and pixel 9 pro XL? But this is my opinion, you don't have to be an id!ot. You didn't buy either of the phone for me. This is my choice, and it's based on my preferences in a phone. |

Originalsly: Let's look before we leap. The OP started out very well.... with high hopes while we be waiting impatiently for him to share his travels. He is on his way and to date ... shared nothing about his arrival nor his stay in Cayman Islands. Is it he is that busy?...or something went wrong?
FYI ...Cayman Islands is small ... has a very small population ... no room to "get lost in the crowd". Tourism is their main thing ... so as a tourist... you're welcomed. To go for a job .... have all the paperwork on point ... or else? Maybe OP should testify. BTW ... Cayman Dollar is stronger than USD ... one CD is 82 cents US. Why wouldn't the world rush to get there?.... and why wouldn't they be super strict to prevent the world from settling there? Food for thought... I'm out You are right bro. Cayman Islands is not a place you can hustle except you have your papers complete. Very small country. Like I mentioned earlier, their pay is not competitive despite being a very rich and expensive country to live in. However, their currency is strong and almost equivalent to pounds. Cayman worc visa (work permit) is quite easy to get if you have a local sponsor. Getting the sponsor is the issue. Lol, crazy thing is, you will hardly want to settle in Cayman Islands if you are a hustler. Cayman Islands is designed for the rich, specifically tourists. They don't produce shit. All their revenue comes from tourism and that is why hospitality business thrives there. |

RealTrump: @ Slimszy,
Sorry about your experience but TWoods is right.
At best your response about ur your post study plans n ur background was run-of-the-mill, it won't fly with her n might not necessarily fly with another VO.
I survived that woman, she grilled me for like 15 minutes. You would think I am lieing until I start d timer n narrate the whole thing to you. Same interview everybody will say takes no more than 2-3 minutes. I wasn't funded.[/b] Hi, thank you for your response. But during my application, years of work experience and my portfolio is the major criteria for the admission. I have seen a number of transcript that didn't have a background in their new program, and was granted visa. I have colleagues who was granted visa too, who doesn't have a background in fine art, but currently studying in the US or have completed their program. However, how do I scale through this? What's the best response in this case. |

Zoey1: You get this reason when they don’t want to give you and have no reason to hold you. That you were denied doesn’t mean your application was not good. But you could have applied as tourist am rather than self employed with no tax returns. I thought as much. Because I don't even understand what these people wants. |

MountainTop34: I think you deserved approval. If you can a new date I’m sure you’ll get it. Try and avoid her at all cost and pray.
Also I don’t think you need to state your internship…. You can rephrase like….After obtaining my bachelors in History, I joined a art studio company focused on painting commercial and pent houses (look for something nice lol), my duties at the role include coloring of ###, depicting of ### to fit into grand pieces of furniture (I don’t know your specialty) that’s was how I came about my passion for art. Thank you for your thoughts. I am planning to apply again and hopefully I get it this time. Yes, you are right. I will find a way to package my response regarding my transition into art. |

Scholar212: To be frank, anyone that has been to Abuja recently and interviewed by her knows chances of approval is very slim. I know of at least three fully funded PhD she has denied. All these minor intracies can't be the reason. The PhD guys have profile intact infact two have been approved on second attempt within two weeks to two months interval of first attempt. Exactly, I believe there is no one way path to this visa approval thing. It's purely meeting the right VO interested in ones profile and whatever you have to say and above ALL God's garce. This particular VO that denied me, denies many fully funded students for whatever reason I don't know. |

TWoods: I highlighted your problem in a nutshell. Your bachelor's degree was in History, but you are seeking a master's in Painting? How do those go together? You've essentially abandoned your first degree and only stumbled on your love for painting when you joined an internship. Yeah, you didn't prove that you were a genuine student. Are you saying the University that gave this admission doesn't know what they are doing? I was interviewed by 6 Professor in my school of choice and got full funding in two schools out of the 3 I applied for. I have a robust work experience of 8 years and I have an excellent career from home showing in prestigious galleries locally and internationally. All this can be verified with publications and interviews on the Internet. How well do one proof to be a genuine student? What is even a career? Isn't it work experience? Btw, I wasn't given an opportunity to even talk about my work experience or my research. How am I supposed to chip this in? |

Nonamexxx: Hi, sorry about your denial. I'm not an expert (this is just a suggestion) from the reason stated it might seem they couldn't verify the reasons for your travel or it was trustworthy .
You have to to convince them how important going to France is for your career. You should also check with others who've gone to France for your type of work. If it's a conference, add contact of people
Most importantly, is your visual arts business registered, are the photographs you submitted watermarked,if you have invoices of those who've purchased your work, I don't know much about your business line but you should try convince them beyond doubt. If you can submit international recognition documents it should help. If there are ways to get your documents attested,do that too. It's going to help with authentication (give legal backing)
Unrelated but I think you'd have a better chance applying for something that has to do with training (with regards to your work) that should be easily trusted. Please guys if you know what this person should do kindly direct them.
Try messaging the organization who gave you an invitation. Show them your denial letter and ask them for suggestions on supporting documents. They should know. Thank you for your thoughts. I actually put in place every reasonable documents. In fact, I have a good Internet footprint, my publications and interviews are online, which I printed. I am going for an Artist in Residence program, which I have done in other countries as well. For my art business, yes, it's registered but I didnt submit a statement of account in that regards. I use my personal account most times for transactions with clients, and I submitted invoices to back up my earnings. |

Zoey1: Sorry to burst your bubble. All these your travel history doesn’t concern Schengen. To them it is no history. Now, why are you applying for business visa? 1/2 times? Has the programme not ended? Or it has t started at all and you were applying ahead? Visual artist? You don’t have any ties , and it’s easy for you to stay put over there. If the program can’t be attended virtually, you have to a thorough convincing for France to allow go physically. I never saw tax details in all documents you said you submitted? And you have a company? France? Maybe another country sha. Hello, the program is within a period of time, according to my invitation letter. I am going their for an Artist in Residence program, and its solely dependent on when I arrive on site, as I will creating works physically. You mean being an artist who have a studio practice based in Nigeria isn't a tie? I have been to other countries for same program and being an artist hasn't been an issue. For tax, I didn't include that because I use my personal account most times for my transactions with clients. Well, maybe I should have applied for Tourism instead of Business. But on their application website, it's an option to choose (art/cultural) for short stay business visa. |

Hi Everyone,
Has anyone recently applied for Business visa (short stay) here?
I have applied twice this past month and was denied. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I submitted every necessary documents from CAC, payslip, statement of account, invitation letter, introduction letter, my CV and portfolio being a visual artist, and many online publications of my works, but still refused.
I am wondering what could be wrong. I have a travel history to Cote d'ivoire, Cayman Islands, Lebanon, UK transit visa.
I am confused why I'm being denied, even after providing sufficient informations and documents about the program I'm going to attend. |

OyoTunjiUSA: Hey 🤠
1. It is not compulsory for something to have changed . Your overall profile and application put forward by you in your first attempt might be 100% satisfactory but ironically you i mean yourself might be the cause of the rejection.
2. How well did you communicated with the consular? Was your answer in tandem with what you inputted in your DS-160? A simple pause or stuttering during your answers can even give the consular a bad impression.
3. No one can give you any perfect answer without reading your last transcripts or having studied your profile .
Best Wishes 🙏 Thank you for your thoughts. Here is my transcript below. Abuja May 2024 Full Funding VO: Window 10 (A pointed nose white lady) Denied VO: What school are you going to? I didn't hear her the first two times, and I mentioned she should please repeat herself. F1: I am going to university of maryland, college park to pursue a Masters in Fine Art, I will be majoring in Painting. - Immediate I mentioned Master in Fine Art, she replied Okay, before I was able to stretch it to my major - Painting. *I realised she wants direct answers* VO: Who is covering your deficit? checking through her system. F1: I don't have a deficit as I have been awarded a full funding - Graduate Assistantship which covers my living expenses and health insurance. *immediately she responded Okay* and checks my I-20. VO: Have you traveled out of the country before. F1: Yes, I have. I have been to Bleep for my work program, I have also been to Bleep for work program as well, then she cuts me by her OKAY. VO: What is your post study plan F1: Upon the completion of my program to I will be returning to my country to transit into the academia while I take the role of a lecturer in the department of fine Art at Bleep University, where I will be teaching university students art and its contemporary practices. I will also be coming back to expand my studio practice back home (before I could proceed, she said OKAY) VO: Tell me about your academic background F1: I have a Bachelor's Degree of Arts in History, and after my graduation I enrolled for an internship under Bleep art studio where I learnt how to paint and draw because of my passion for Art. (she cuts me Okay). Then you are not qualified for this student visa at this moment. Notes: She asked a question after the first one which I cannot remember. But I stuttered at first, before gaining my balance. My response was tying what the degree will do for me back home. I remember I talked about taking a lecturing position. Maybe I was anxious at first, I don't know. But I understand I answered every question. |

Unclebayo: hello sir pls how is cayman Island, can you tell us small about the country? Hi Cayman Island is quite a pretty small country with about 50k populace (Grand Cayman). If you are into hospitality, you can get a job easily there. Quite very expensive to live in and the pay are not very competitive. You can have an idea about jobs and pay via ecaytrade.com Cayman Islands is not a place you can build for a long time as no benefits in staying a long period. Although, very beautiful and peaceful country.
