Despite lecturers’ strike , Lagos State University (LASU),
Ojo, managed to release an approved academic calendar
for the 2013/2014 session, which is applicable to both
fresh and returning students, NAN reports.
The information was contained in a statement signed by
the Public Relations Officer of LASU, Kayode Sutton on
June 27, 2014, Friday.
The first semester of the session would last for 14 weeks,
commencing from June 23, 2014 and finishing on
September 22, 2014.
The spokesperson urged the students to resume,
commence online registration and lectures.

LASU official added that grading, uploading of results and
department/faculty board consideration of results, as
well as uploading of corrections are to be over by week
13, which is on September 19, according to the
schedule.
“By Sept. 22, results will be presented for senate
approval, and the semester winds up on the same day,”
the statement said.
The second semester starts immediately after the first
semester ends. The period is September 23, 2014 –
January 12, 2015.
Minimum 70% of attendance for lectures is required
before a student would be eligible to sit for
examinations.
LASU PRO further revealed that students have already
started returning to campuses for lectures in their
respective faculties, which is in compliance with the
directive by the administration of the institution.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof Oladapo Obafunwa, led a
group of principal officers to inspect faculties on June
26, 2014. The officials embarked on a tour to monitor
compliance with the resumption directive.

It would be added that return of normal activities to LASU
become possible following mass students’ protests and
alleged Governor Babatunde Fashola’s intervention,
which led to reduction of tuition fees.

oga4rill: to those who are about to write 2nd round post utme of lasu. my advice for u is to read well but the question are very cheap, in my own questn I come across a comprehension past of jamb of 1978, dome of full mean of BRT, LAMATE and commissioner of police in Lagos state, the nsme of the chancellor of lasu, u need to know some festivals celebrated in dome state, and in maths, polynomial, AP, converting to base etc. wish u all d best

Adeboye4421: guy make i no lie i just go quickly register 2day cos i have little hope of being admitted in funaab with p-utme score of 33% and Lasu may change their mind anytime and close the registration but only those who does the registration earlier would have the opportunity of doing their p-utme exam and might be admitted if they meet up the cut-off point

required details (JAMB Registration Number,
Surname and Mode of Entry – UME or DE).
3.Click on PROCEED button to load the
Registration Form. Each applicant is expected to
complete the registration form by providing the
following information.
Candidates will be required to upload a scanned
copy of their passport size photograph (File Size:
Not more than 20KB; File format: JPEG [i.e. ‘.jpg’]).
Application for change of passport photograph by
the candidates given provisional admission shall

coded80: u can write it,d question range 4m 50 to 100,ur jamb score is allover 50 while pume is also. Overall 50,d Fees will be pasted when it is time To Resume, last pume cutoff mark is 45%,it may increase depending on d level of performance
