I was mailed this morning asking if i would love to take up personal banking in another state about 4 hours from my present location, as there was there was no vacancy in my present state yet. I mailed back and screamed yesssss!!! Before another person like Hiploko or Beau49 grabs the offer . Been looking forward to a change of environment seriously. So they mailed me back and said that 'state' it is. So I don port oooo. YOU ARE NEXT!!! Amen!!!

Stanbic IBTC
pledges to engage regulatory authorities

Stanbic IBTC Holdings Plc has pledged to engage the
relevant regulatory agencies undertaking enquiries into its
account to ensure that issues leading to the suspension of
its planned rights issue by the Securities and Exchange
Commission (SEC) are addressed in a timely manner.
The SEC had in public notice yesterday said that it has put
the proposed rights issue by the bank on hold following
receipt of letters from the National Office for Technology
Acquisition and Promotion (NOTP), the Central Bank of
Nigeria (CBN) as well as the Financial Reporting Council
(FRC).
The commission noted that the suspension also became
necessary due to notification from the FRC of an ongoing
investigation on the financial statements of the bank.
The suspension took effect on September 7, 2015 and would
remain effective pending conclusion of the ongoing
investigation and proper resolution of all issues raised, the
SEC said.
The bank, however, in a statement assured that it is “well
capitalised and has adequate liquidity”.
The bank said “Stanbic IBTC Holdings Plc (“Stanbic IBTC”)
notes the suspension by the Nigerian Securities and
Exchange Commission of its proposed rights issue, pending
the resolution of enquiries from certain relevant regulatory
bodies.
“The management of Stanbic IBTC will continue to engage
with the relevant regulatory bodies to ensure that these
enquiries are addressed in a timeous manner. Stanbic IBTC
Bank Plc, the banking subsidiary of Stanbic IBTC Holdings
Plc, remains well capitalised and has sufficient liquidity.”
It will be recalled that Stanbic IBTC Holdings had in June
revealed its intension to raise N20.4 billion via a rights
issue.
It said that it would issue 800 million ordinary shares of 50
kobo each at N25.50 each on the basis of two new shares
for every 25 held. The qualification date for this Right Issue
is 10 June 2015.
Stanbic IBTC only recently celebrated the listing of its N15.4
billion corporate bonds, which will be applied to fund the
bank’s asset growth in the personal and business banking
segment, while shoring up capital adequacy in the form of
Tier II Capital, in line with Central Bank of Nigeria’s
regulatory framework.

did you received your interview and medical invite through your Stanbic outlook mail?. if yes, check underneath the signature of the sender, you will find the number of your contact person.

if you can't find it. open "new mail" on your Microsoft outlook as if you want to send a new message, copy the full name or email of your contact person, click on find contact at the top of the mail, paste the names/email, it will bring out his/her numbers and department. good luck.

The recruitment exercise is for both Experienced Core Banking Officers and Freshers. You`ll find the criteria for the experienced Officers below; while for freshers is a maximum of 24 years, 5 credits in O levels including maths and English in not more than two sittings, a degree with a minimum grade of second class upper(2.1).


FOR EXPERIENCED HIRES:

1. A minimum of 5 o ’level credits (including English and Mathematics) achieved at not more than TWO sittings. However candidate with 5 years’ experience without credit in mathematics will be considered.

2. A minimum of bachelor degree with at least a second class honours lower division.

3. A minimum of 12 months post NYSC experience in the Banking industry or 24 months minimum if candidate is coming from a reputable and highly recognized organization

4. Candidates with Higher National Diploma (HND) must have upwards of 5 years post NYSC banking experience. He/she will also possess higher academic or professional qualifications. i.e. M.Sc., MBA or ACA, ACCA etc. Recruitment of such candidates will be strategic and based on specific business development objectives and deliverables.

Note: This is strictly for those that want to work in Northeast and Northwest.

Pls nairalanders, I need you to pls make the sorting of cvs easy for me. The criteria for this job are clearly spelt out so I see no reason why one will apply for job not qualified for. Am not an HR person but am doing this just to give a little back to nairaland(Am a beneficiary of an info I got from here 3yrs ago). The truth is, I might not be able to open all the mails because the number is much already and I have other things to do too. If you apply but not qualify u have only succeeded in denying others who are qualified a chance. Abeg make una understand.

I think it cos we have excess of supply of labour than demand, that's why all these are happening.... even major oil companies recruitments are not these overstretched...

I don't think the salary is fixed,it all depends on your level of experience and negotiating skills. For the chat read the job description and practice normal interview questions.

I have not heard from them since my exco chat for personal banker on the 3rd of august. Hmm keeping hope alive. My guy got a regret mail for business banker too last night. He did he's interview last tuesday

nawao! why just news about guys avoiding sexual advance with ladies? why is no one reporting 1001 cases of ladies avoiding sexual advances from guys on a daily basis? na so guys take the thing serious

Pls is there anyone that did his/her own interview on 11th of august that have heard from them? I did mine that day for the position of a business banker and av not heard from them but someone who works there told me to still be hopeful. anyone or any idea pls?

Then you don't have nothing to worry about. My friend said a guy who interviewed same day with her but with 2 years banking experience was successful and is on to the next stage.

pls I was interviewed on 11th august for business banker, and I have not heard from them. is there anyone who was interviewed on same day that av heard from them?

can we talk less and think more of action. we should start thinking of how to petition this people to forestall these excesses
