my own matter seems different o... Seems all June 5 assessment guys have reached the medical stage. One person I was waiting for the invite with got it today...same region with me!

Since he/she got his/hers today and you are both in the same region,there is a possibility you might get yours this week. Although one can't be certain.


I know someone I wrote the test and had my interview before him got medical invite before me. So just keep hoping and praying....

Hello house.I applied for the asset custodian position last month and on d STANBIC portal,my Application status was showing CONSIDERING.though I've nt gotten any aptitude IV.I checked again today and my status has changed to CLOSED.Pls does any one knows wat that means ?.

@boyo, i have been really busy lately...ans yes....I have been inducted...

inductions are done twice every month....
I'm aware of some inductees since july
training is on-the-job Btw 2 wks-1 mnth

to some ppl scared cos they have not been called yet....I say chill, relax and ignore Stanbic...as long as u havnt gotten a regret mail ur file would still be open...so because someone u wrote test with or did interview with has gotten offer or medical invite and u havnt gotten does not mean u out....it only means there is an urgent need to fill a vacancy in that position in that particular region....so just chill ur time will come.... some people I did medicals with started working even before me and some are yet to even get offer letters....so do not fret.....

thanks for the word of assurance because I was already getting scared more than a month after medicals and nothing yet I did medicals on the 3rd of August and no pre offer letter yet, nawa oooo let stanbic not extend this recruitment to next year ooooo

Stanbic IBTC Holdings Plc has pledged to engage the
relevant regulatory agencies undertaking enquiries into its
account to ensure that issues leading to the suspension of
its planned rights issue by the Securities and Exchange
Commission (SEC) are addressed in a timely manner.
The SEC had in public notice yesterday said that it has put
the proposed rights issue by the bank on hold following
receipt of letters from the National Office for Technology
Acquisition and Promotion (NOTP), the Central Bank of
Nigeria (CBN) as well as the Financial Reporting Council
(FRC).
The commission noted that the suspension also became
necessary due to notification from the FRC of an ongoing
investigation on the financial statements of the bank.
The suspension took effect on September 7, 2015 and would
remain effective pending conclusion of the ongoing
investigation and proper resolution of all issues raised, the
SEC said.
The bank, however, in a statement assured that it is “well
capitalised and has adequate liquidity”.
The bank said “Stanbic IBTC Holdings Plc (“Stanbic IBTC”)
notes the suspension by the Nigerian Securities and
Exchange Commission of its proposed rights issue, pending
the resolution of enquiries from certain relevant regulatory
bodies.
“The management of Stanbic IBTC will continue to engage
with the relevant regulatory bodies to ensure that these
enquiries are addressed in a timeous manner. Stanbic IBTC
Bank Plc, the banking subsidiary of Stanbic IBTC Holdings
Plc, remains well capitalised and has sufficient liquidity.”
It will be recalled that Stanbic IBTC Holdings had in June
revealed its intension to raise N20.4 billion via a rights
issue.
It said that it would issue 800 million ordinary shares of 50
kobo each at N25.50 each on the basis of two new shares
for every 25 held. The qualification date for this Right Issue
is 10 June 2015.
Stanbic IBTC only recently celebrated the listing of its N15.4
billion corporate bonds, which will be applied to fund the
bank’s asset growth in the personal and business banking
segment, while shoring up capital adequacy in the form of
Tier II Capital, in line with Central Bank of Nigeria’s
regulatory framework.
