Lumig:Many are carried away by the buzz around democracy not seeing the motive behind introducing the system especially to Africa. I believe that democracy is wonderful if naturally practiced, but no. It is a backdoor to the colonial masters to always come in through so many guise to control us |
Gotocourt:What right does the US have to attack and kill their leader amidst negotiation |
CYBERWEAVER:Pretend u lost a big amount of money and things aren't well for like a month and see what she will do |
Bigsunny01:Could this be a biological warfare targeted at Africa? Notice how the first top 12 leading countries are all from Africa. It has been maintained in some quarters that Hiv is man made. If true, Africa doesn't have the capability to invent such. Which country does? Why is it now prevalent in Africa. Rumours have it that any medical breakthrough that come up with a cure always die mysteriously.... |
ElSudani:He should have shown seriousness by sending an executive bill to the national assembly for State police to be created not mere words of mouth. I suspect that this is just noise |
Yet they keep saying it's one Nigeria. How do u expect patriotism in this kind of brazen selfishness? |
Denalarian:Sultan is the head of Fulani in Nigeria. A mere vocal condemnation of Fulani terrorising Nigeria would have discouraged the atrocious massacre of Fulani terrorists but no. He has never criticized their actions even for once. It is a silence of complicity. The Sultan of late has been calling for social media regulation. The instrument that exposes the evil of Fulani deeds to the world. Mind u, he hasn't condemned the murders that cause the ventilation but the instrument. Meaning, he wants the killing to continue quietly. Sultan is the father and Patron of murderous Fulani terrorists. End. |
Ekaka14:I believe you 100% |
loffyloffy:Figures don't lie. When Buhari left office, Nigeria debt stood at ₦12Trillion. Within Tinubu's short rule the country's debt has ballooned to ₦152.40 Trillion and still counting Mind you, subsidy has been removed. Where is the proceeds of subsidy going to warrant such wanton borrowing? And If some of the borrowing are short term as u said, why does the total debt keeps going up instead coming down to level up as u want me to believe? |
DeLaRue:No, where is the proceeds of subsidy going to? |
YesDaddyTill203:So now that the naira is floated (no artificial backup of naira) and subsidy is also removed, where is the proceeds going to that Tinubu keeps borrowing on monthly basis? The money Tinubu has borrowed within two years is more than what Buhari borrowed for eight years and it goes on. What's happening? |
grandstar:And Tinubu is presently fixing the economy by piling up debts without showing any fiscal discipline |
Saturnalia:Our colonial masters whom our politicians worship will NOT approve of such moves. |
While some of the legislators are kicking against state police despite the ravaging insecurity in most states, here they are trying to establish their own security at the sound of a mere threat State police should also be created to secure the citizens in the various states if not the same federal security architecture should guide the national Assembly |
If not arrogance, who are they to impose sanctions on sovereign countries on who to trade with |
What an embarrassment. So they untend to tell us that some officers snuggled some names in the list? They can safe face for all we care but we now known another low level to their perversity |
epainos:The comments above are really nauseating. Most Nigerians have been brainwashed by propaganda to see Russia as a hostile country. This has blinded Nigs and Africans to see that Russia never enslaved, colonized or exploit Africa in anyway. They rather helped many African countries to gain independence. It's ironic that we still choose to side with our oppressors (they put chains on our ancestors necks) and continue to view Russia despite her good intentions towards Africa with skepticism. We choose to side with those that enslaved us, colonized, exploited and still sponsoring terror against us. We will continue to perish for lack of knowledge |
SeverusSnape:America could not defeat the ragtag afghan militias for 20 years. They had to beat a shabish pull out leaving behind their military hardwares for the Afghan Taliban to take over. Needn't i remind you of how Vietnamese; farmers o humiliated America in recent history. Let me tell you, Russia has never lost a war unlike America that only bully small countries If Russia decide to go full throttle on Ukraine even the devil will pity them |
You will never see this Sultan condemning violent attacks and killings by Fulani herdsmen. It is social media that offers the peasants killed by rampaging Fulani the outlet to call attention to their plight he is after . Sultan call the Fulani to order. Tell them to stop killing Nigerians and leave the social media alone |
helinues:These are business bigwigs desiring to invest for their profit. It's commonsense that u don't curse the tree while desiring its fruit. Again, Some of those economists hold high positions in the likes of WEF which is a sister body to IMF where Tinubu's economic policies are dictated. They dare not criticise while still on platform. Now let's get into it. There is no gain saying that Nig economy is in doldrums. Inflation is all time high, naira has abysmally lost its value, tailing as the 44th currency in Africa out of 54 countries. Evidently, what is the value of dollar to naira? Nigeria has been ranked the 12th poorest country in the world (which is generous) by gross domestic product per capita in 2025 by IMF with 89 million of its population in abject poverty. The most touted economic policies of Tinubu have not produced any visible impact in the lives of average Nigs but plague of hunger and the promissory rhetoric of result will soon manifest. We all know it's not happening. Now, despite the much talk about subsidy removal, we can not point to any benefit that accrue as a result. Rather layers of debt that will take generations to clear. Where is the subsidy money going to? We have gone past the stage of using investors mere chant of clean bill of health to assess the overall performance of this blighted economy mishaps we presently have under this tax master, except we are being deluded or deceitful. |
Russia is a big embarassment. Nuclear weapon aside, Ukraine would have batted Russia aside. Even with the restrictions to weapons Ukraine is allowed to use in Russia and Russia receiving North Korean, chinese and iranian gadgets plus 10s of thousands of troops from North Korea, the frontline is largely a stalemate. Take this your propaganda to X. You will find people dull enough to believe it.[/quote]***************†*********************** If nuclear should be put aside then even the US will bow to Russia cos the kinds of weapons Russia has, US and the whole of NATO don't come close. US and the west only propaganised their military strength to intimidate small countries. The restrictions they placed on Ukraine not to use same weapons they sent to them is purely out of fear of Russia's reaction. Remember Russia warned that any weapons use to strike them automatically makes the manufacturer a legitimate target. That's why they tell Ukraine "don't". They know who the boss is. Didn't you see how Trump rolled out the red carpet to Putin when he visited Alaska? Why didn't they arrest him since there's ICC warrant of arrest on him? They way Trump was so courteous and respectful should hint at something. Instead of seeing Russia as an embarrassment, u should be concerned that despite the weapons and aids the US and NATO sent to Ukraine, Russia still did them dirty. Mind you, Putin deliberately does not want to go full throttle on Ukraine, yet they have a bloodied nose already. Take this, Russia is a big game. |
This his visit is coming on the heels of Niger Rep threatening to reveal Nigerian politicians sponsoring banditry I hope it's a genuine visit |
Deep and profound write up. The insight in the script if imbibed, can make one a desirable partner in life |
The volume of statistics given are false without any apology. The stat should be 65% Contract staff and 45% Main Staff The whole of operations staff in Two Third of the banks in Nigeria are contract staff. If u see 3 or 4 staff Manning the customer service, all of them are outsourced. All the tellers are contract staff too with only cash officer and Operations Manager as main staff. In marketing unit, 6 out of 10 are also contract staff. The statistics is very false. Banks are terribly enslaving Nigerians. Here is the annoying part. The outsourcing firms are owned by top executives or their relatives. |
The Fulanis have been riding on the number of Hausa to cling to political power only to turn around and oppress Hausa people. The eyes of Hausa people are now opened |
If removal of subsidy would have been done 39 years ago, why did Tinubu vehemently opposed Jonathan in 2012 when he wanted to remove it? And why does the govt borrow frequently after removing the subsidy without anything tangible thing to show for it ? |
These are the kinds of prophets that received Ahab to his dead |

Imagine the arrogance with which he was making the announcement. He knows that nothing will happen. Cos that's how it's done |
