Politics / Re: Genocide In Sudan (your Black Brethren Are Being Hunted And Slaughtered!!!) by smallgod(m): 2:57pm On Oct 22, 2014
MeAboki:
OP:
This is stale news and you are lying to say that the international community is not doing anything about it; if not, ask yourself why is the North Sudanese head of state is still a wanted man?

Currently, it has turn around to black killing black, Christian against Christian in Southern Sudan - don't say you are not aware.

Thats why some are even warning Nigerians against similar eventuality - noting heating up of the polity along religious and tribal lines.

First of all, you say it is STALE news because YOU are aware of it. But you have to understand that millions of people are not aware of it. Lots of Nigerians I know do not possess an iota of information on what is happening in Sudan. In fact, many Nigerians limit their news reading, watching and listening to sports (in fact just football), Nigerian politics and entertainment.

Secondly you say that it has turned around to black killing black, Christian against Christian. Are you aware that some Christian groups were corrupted by the enemy using bribes and the promise of power in the newly formed South Sudan. Part of it is also inter-tribal war with the Arabs supplying weapons to both sides. Yes, it is a most shameful thing that blacks can kill each other indiscriminately - Arabs kill each other indiscriminately too and caucasians do so when they can using mass killings and serial killings - but you have to understand that the fuighting in South Sudan is greatly influenced by the North.

Celebrities / Comedian Spanky Hayes Claims That Tyrese Gibson Is Gay by smallgod(m): 2:39pm On Oct 22, 2014
Could it be true? Tyrese of all people! I know most ladies would feel more than let down if this is true as my friend's Polish girlfriend has categorically stated that it is an impossibility. What do you think? Could Tyrese actually have given a Mouth Gig to get the lead role in Baby Boy? Or is Spanky Hayes just a run-of-the-mill mischief maker and fame LovePeddler? How about Morris Chestnut and Jamie Foxx? What do you figure concerning their sexuality? For more on this issue check out http://remainintheknow..co.uk/2014/10/comedian-spanky-hayes-claims-that.html, the blog that keeps you up to spped on happenings around the world.

Wow!

The heart of man is desperately wicked.

It definitely is boss. See the kind of discrimination we black people always have to put up with. It won't change unless we Africans change how we VIEW ourselves, which is apparent in how we TREAT ourselves.

Politics / Genocide In Sudan (your Black Brethren Are Being Hunted And Slaughtered!!!) by smallgod(m): 5:03pm On Oct 09, 2014
For years the world lied to themselves, in fact governments around the world were absolutely deluded concerning the situation in Sudan, especially the region of Darfur. For some reason, they refused to believe the truth that was before their eyes, that a genocide of colossal proportions was happening in Sudan, perpetrated by the Arab Sudanese government against Sudanese Africans. It took an ex US Marine to bring the atrocities committed by the murderous Sudanese regime - which is still in power today - to the attention of the United States Government, the American public and the world at large. THIS IS A MUST WATCH VIDEO!!!. Visit

True talk Ignatio. The arab sympathisers and all other ignorant Nigerians who love "oyibo" when "oyibo" don't even se them as human beings have to see this. Saemmanuel, no vex o. However I believe that since this is a Nigerian website English and pidgin English should be the preferred languages for communication. Given the fact that Nigeria is a country of over a hundred languages it does not really make sense to post in one language without translating into English. Once again, my apologies Saemmanuel.

what does that mean saemmanuel? I show you an important video that has to be seen by all black people around the world and you make light of it by posting something unintelligible instead of posting the video elsewhere so other people can see it and be informed? Shame on you brother!

Success requires vision, commitment(dedication), determination, hard work and a WHOLE LOT OF DISCIPLINE. Vision: You need to have a clear picture of the basic status you want to achieve (I say basic because it can be surpassed with time). You need to be committed to the achievement of the desired state of affairs and this commitment will most definitely breed determination to succeed regardless of whatever odds you encounter and enable you put in the requisite hard work for success. However, to stay on the never-ending path or journey which we call success (it is NOT A DESTINATION as there are always greater heights and territories to be conquered), the traveler (the individual trying to achieve a goal) needs to be disciplined.
It is discipline that enables an individual to drag him or herself to the gym in very terrible weather (having just gotten back from work a few minutes ago). It takes discipline to do a 40 minute session with your set of dumb bells when you would much rather watch tv. It takes discipline to forgo that burger and coca cola you would to have for a snack and choose the healthy option of a salad and mineral water. It takes discipline to pick up that mathematics or biology textbook and do some serious solving or reading when your friends are all going out for a drink or a game of football. On innumerable occasions discipline has seen me through and past challenges.
The importance of discipline cannot be over-emphasised on the issue of success.

Since my late teens I have had friends look at me and say "I am too fat, I wish I had a body like yours" or " See how skinny my arms and chest are. I wish I were big like you". I always told them- and still tell them- "All you have to do is start exercising and bodybuilding". What kind of answer have they always given me? "Oh I will definitely do that but I don't have time at the moment due to school work...... As soon as I graduate from the university I will start" After graduation what excuse do they give me? "Oh, I just graduated and I am busy looking for a job right now. I will start after I get a job". After they get a job, the excuse predictably switches to "Oh I'm too busy with work right now. Maybe when I get promoted and have more time for myself" or "Maybe I will hit the gym when I start my own company." These are just the excuses of the lazy, of ineffective people, of failures. They NEVER START! For more, visit my blog http://iwishicouldbebetter..co.uk
Business / Re: The Art Of Waiting by smallgod(m): 3:03pm On Jun 02, 2013
Engage in some serious networking. You just might meet someone who would be instrumental in your meeting and even surpassing your goal.
Finally, convince yourself that you are able to get to your destination. In fact, convince yourself that you have already achieved or arrived at your desired destination and all that remains is the physical manifestation of that arrival. This puts you in the right frame of mind to achieve your desired goal.
Hope this post helps in some way no matter how little. See you at the top.
Business / The Art Of Waiting by smallgod(m): 3:43pm On Mar 15, 2013
(from http://iwishicouldbebetter..co.uk/)

Everybody has a place, a destination he or she wants to get to in life. Everybody has a dream he or she wants to realise. Some destinations, some dreams are bigger than others. Sometimes, the journey to this destination could be a very long and arduous one. Sometimes, the traveller begins to question if he or she will ever get there. If his or her dream is a realisable one. Often, he or she is forced to ask,why the long wait? Why the never-ending delay? Should I just give up?
If you are currently in this position, permit me to encourage you not to give up. Delays and waiting usually plague every journey to a great destination (or destiny if you like). These delays actually serve to help you build the ever so important attribute of patience. It also gives one the opportunity to learn and perfect the ART OF WAITING.
What you do when you encounter delays and setbacks on the journey to greatness matters a lot. In fact, what you do while you wait `can either make you or break you. It can determine whether you succeed in getting to your desired destination or not- and also determine how long you stay there (how long you remain on top) when you get there.
So what are some of the things you can do while you wait or experience delay? Below are just a few suggestions.

Acquire skills that will equip you for the position you seek to attain. These may be communication skills (both verbal and written), project management and other transferable skills (skills that can be taken from one discipline and used in another).
Develop other talents and gifts that you have. These could come in handy on your road to greatness or when you get to where you are headed. Get better at singing if you like to sing (and CAN SING), write more if you have a flair for writing, hope you catch my drift.
Get inspiration and motivation from inspirational books (paper and audio books), videos, etc.

Politics / Re: Christian Youths Kill Muslims In Reprisal Attacks At Gonin Gora, Kaduna by smallgod(m): 6:19pm On Jun 17, 2012
As much as we christians have been put in a really tight corner, have been pushed to the wall and frustrated for so long by the evil machinations of these maniacal religious extremists, I find it really hard to convince myself that reprisals attacks on our part is what we need to bring the killings meted out by these ungodly people to an end. The reason why I say this is that reprisal attacks by the christians is most likely to breed reprisal attacks by the muslims. This, merciful God forbid, could lead to a full-scale religious war in the country. Believe me, this is not what Nigeria, or any other african nation- or indeed any nation at all- needs. We have to ask ourselves these salient questions: Hasn't the black race suffered enough? I mean, from the absolute humiliation and degradation of slavery to the exploitation (of every kind) of colonmisation and european imperialism. Isn't there another means to the resolution of this crisis? Why are the moderate, peace-loving muslims not speaking up against the acts of the fanatics in their fold? We all must seek the peaceful resolution of this crisis and not use violence to fight violence.
