What actually amaze me in all these middle-belt killings is the fact that 26% of our armed forces (comprising of police, army(navy, airfoece), civil defence, immigration, prison, customs and fire service) are Benue state indegenes, 20% are from Kaduna state - especially Kaduna South, another 20% are from plateau and taraba states. there is hardly any family in the middle-belt that doesn't have one or more uniformed personnel in their family!

The next Nigerian election will be interesting. If someone like Kwankwaso can merge with a notable personality from the South. It will not be an easy walk as usual for the incumbent.

Then again, we have the Labour force (Teachers, NASU, ASUU etc) that are known to support the incumbent leader, this is why the dynamics is very predictable. As long as the Labour force keeps collecting their slavery monthly salary, they will support anything, even though the economy is on a free fall.

The North needs to wake up, they are the only region that can change the dynamics of the next election.
