Which one is house-to-house campaign organisation again? I only know of Neighbour-to-Neighbour campaign organisatio ![]() |
RedEboe:This is indeed true. I was shocked while buying some foodstuff yest'day on my way back from work. Prices of chicken and tomatoes were relatively low compared to what they were at this period last year. I think the drop in oil price has not really affected us domestically. And I also hope this trend is sustained. |
FindOut:Now you are skewing to "GEJ is not a leader" from your previous ranting of "show us GEJ's publications". I think you guys are just confused ![]() |
shiftmarket:My friend you are very wrong! In the academia, a main researcher would always want to include the name of his supervisor(s) or an associate in his publication with the aim of giving them a form of recognition and/or appreciation for their efforts of any kind. Alternate names are also included to give the publication a form of credibility, most especially if they are people who have created a niche for themselves in that particular field. The two publications I produced during my MSc research, I included the names of my two supervisors to show appreciation and to recognise them. |
espn:My guy you call farming poo? I wonder the kind of youths we have these days. You have just shown to all that you are one of those who want to live big without working hard. So pathetic! Let me tell you something, the way forward for this country is agriculture and industrialisation. No more spoon feeding of any group of people, we all must put efforts to move this country forward. |
These are laudable achievements, and I'm really impressed. Dear GEJ you shall have my vote come 14th Feb., 2015. |
kennypoka2:Speak on preacher. |
And what's this Amaechi's crime that he should be hated even after he leaves office?[/quo At the moment all developmental projects in the state have been stalled all because he's chasing APC VP slot, which he wofully failed to clinch. Many contractors have demobilized from sites due to non-disbursement of funds for project execution. Workers have not been paid their salaries for about 3 months now. In fact it seems Rivers state does not have a governor at the moment. |
Kassidy4luv:I can promise you that Wike will defeat Dakuku even in his Opobo hometown. |
kennypoka2:All I can tell you is that Rivers state belongs to PDP, and there's nothing anyone can do about it, nothing even Amaechi or APC. |
kennypoka2:Make I hear word. What do you know about Rivers State? I just pity you lots who comment without basis about Rivers politics. Come to Rivers state, every nook and cranny is controlled by Wike's GDI, and that's what I call grassroot mobilization. So it would be very difficult for anybody at this moment to upstage Wike in the course of the forthcoming gubernatorial election. |
PhockPhockMan:Loll. This is epic. |
Hehehehehehe...laughing in swahili. There's no smoke without fire. I smell conspiracy in all these intrigues. ![]() |
Amaechi don die wella ![]() |
I and my family are solidly behind you my President. You shall continue to walk and never stumble. Come feb 14, 2015, you shall be returned to Aso rock with our massive votes and supports. |
Demdem:You think you are the only one that lives in PH, Rivers state? I will continue to burst your lies which you feed to the unsuspecting public. I won't duel with you on insults, because people who lack decorum do that. |
post=28759816:Thanks bro, I'm eagerly waiting. |
Switpal:That's why people like us who don't dwell on rumour but on facts dont take them serious. We are threats to them whenever we presents facts and figures to refute their lies. I just pity peoples who get easily hoodwinked by their lies and propaganda all in the name of promoting Buhari. No matter what they do, they can never change his past. |
rozayx5:It's not about being smarter that Buhari. Can Buhari give what he does not have? He was once a leader and he knows transforming Nigeria in a short time is not a rocket science. Nigeria being a complex society would take some time to be gradually transformed from this state to where we all want it to be. And President Jonathan is already doing that by setting the transfortion agenda in motion. It only requires that we support him to actualize this dream for a better Nigeria. |
Collynzo9:My brother please help me ask these myopic individuals. They think Buhari will pass the bill all by himself. All what the OP listed are things GEJ initiated and are currently being executed. So there's nothing new, and I'm not excited either. |
ypzilanti:My friend which East-West road are you talking about? is it the one that's undergoing massive construction, which i travelled through last weekend or another one? For your information, a lot of work has been done/and is still being done on that road. From Patani to warri, is 100% completed with markings and middle demarcations. From Patani to Mbiama (Yenagoa junction) is 60% completed- this rgion is taking much time and resources because i discovered there are so many bridges in this stretch. From Mbiama to Uniport junction is 70% completed, and from here to Eleme junction is 90% completed. So there is nothing you can tell me about East-West road that I don't know of because I take this route every now and then. Please always say things the way they are and not deceive people with false information. Thank you. |
Even though the presidential election is going to be keenly contested between GEJ and Buhari, I'm very sure Buhari will be floored. Victory is certain for GEJ, and there's nothing anybody can do about it. |
post=28756573:My man thanks for the info. I've visited your site, and the app you recommended is only for android. Do you know of any app i can download for BlackBerry 9720? Thanks in anticipation for your answer. |
cidieschat:This is a fallacy many of you spew all the time. You guys mistake Wike's grassroot popularity to being a thug. One thing you have failed to understand is that these same people you refer to as 'thug' are the same people you will all fall back to for their votes. Wike is just being smart to have started his mobilisation at the grassroot level on time, because he understands the political game, hence this name-calling from his distracters. Rivers State belongs to PDP, APC can only try their best, but the true situation on ground will always emerge. |
Abagworo:Oga Abagworo, I'm really amazed by your analysis of the current economic realities in Nigeria. Even if oil price per barrel is $20 or $100, the law of the federation stipulates that whatever that's accruable to the federation must be shared among the various arms of gov't proportionally, while the excess (based on benck mark from budget) should be placed in the excess crude account. Unfortunately our ever 'over-ambituous' politicians, most especially the state Governors and legislators refused to buy the idea of creating a sovereign wealth fund, on the premise that it's not recognised by law. Can you see now that all this while our lawmakers have never made any efforts to make sacrifices by passing a bill that would recognise the SRWF? They are only interested in their pockets, and never about anything that would benefit the common man and even the generation unborn. |
CaptainOjemba:Kudos to you my brother for the clarification. People have failed to understand that PDP is a party which all parts of Rivers State hold dear to their hearts. The presence of an opposition as APC would definiely find it difficult to dislodge PDC from Rivers State. The last time I visited Nkoro, Opobo, and many of the Islands within Andoni LGA was in 2011. Then there was a great construction work going on, including the bridge linking Egendem and it's sister town. As for the road from Nkoro, that was planned to link Opobo, Kalaibiama and Queenstown the project was more like abandoned. I'm happy that efforts are being made to link these riverine communities. |
Bearshare:This is the reason why I don't take most of these opposition supporters serious. You just wake up and make baseless accusations without facts, just because you don't like the person. For your information, I don't dwell on rumour but facts. Wike on his side has done very well while serving as minister of state for Education, by spear heading the face lifting of the unity schools across the nation, as well as establishment of the Amajiri schools in many northern states. He equally deserves supports from well meaning Rivers state residents. |
While you plan voting for your party PDP do not also forget that the candidate in this your party in R/state is seen as nothing more that a thug, tout, looter and betrayer. Enjoy your wike for 8 years. [/qHow do u define a thug and tout? I don't do "follow follow". I stick to what i believe and have faith in. No form of character assasination and propaganda by opposition can change my mind. So whatever you think, is your own business. peace |
Bearshare:Well that may be the opinions of some people, but as for me I would stick with my party because there is no difference between the politicians, even though they are in different parties. |
turawafett:Lie! There's no bridge built by Peterside as former commissioner of works linking Opobo. I've been to Opobo, even their family house is just facing the water-front. The only place that's close to Opoba town is Ikot Abasi, the host community of Aluminium smelting Company (ALSCON), which is just directly facing the Opobo town. Access to Opobo town at the moment is through speed boat through a jetty at one Ogoni town (forgotten the name). Dakuku Peterside actually did a good job during Amaechi firt term in Office, as he was very proactive in supervising many road projects going on then in Rivers State. I wish him all the best in his duel with Nyesom Wike for Rivers State governorship position. It's indeed going to be an herculean task for Perterside. |
moneybag100:I'm hitting Uyo this December, once we shut down at work, from 22nd. I've been there twice before, but this time around I will try to visit many parts of Uyo and Ikot Ikpene . |
Abagworo:Oga Abagworo, these pictures of buildings you are displaying here are within the NLNG Residential Area (RA), built by NLNG, not state government. I used to lodge there each time we are to board ships managed by one of the NLNG subsidiaries. The place is indeed beautiful but no social life, as a result, we usually go out at night to Finima to go catch some fun I've resigned from the job anyway ![]() |
