WebmastersNeed Advice To Implement Online Giving In My Church Website by smartkid20(op): 1:17pm On Aug 10, 2009
Hello the greatest of the Nairaland webmasters! I hail first o!!!

Now, our elders say that a toad cannot run in the day time, except it is after something or something else is after him. Guys, I need advice, help or whatever English word will describe what I need right now.

I am actually designing a website for my church and I need to implement an online giving (offering) feature in the site. I was thinking of using Interswitch (ATM) payment mode as the means of payment. The problem is that I seem lost. I don't know what to do. If it were abroad, there are already solutions online to subscribe to, but you guys know that Nigerians really don't use credit cards (VISA cards for example).

Guys, what do I need to know. Thanks for your help.

Moderator, close this topic. The issue has been over flogged. My second account "@ngel03" lost his posting privileges because of this topic, in the name of SPAM (thank God I have 2 accounts!).

At least guys, let's give 'em a THUMBS UP, hunh? They are doing quite well for kids of their age. Even most of us adults aren't even close to an A+ certificate in this forum, no matter how much we brag about IT topics. Do you feel me guys?

Never heard of it. But wish you could explain better about your problem anyway.

My dear, the very first step to passing certification exams, especially IT-related papers is what I call, "IGNORANT CONFIDENCE!" Let me explain. Act as if what they will give you that day is little compared to what you know right now. Let me call it "having faith". Seriously. TAke my word for it. Most of those exams are quite easy. Most people fail only due to their inherent fear, even before the D-day.

So, start developing "IGNORANT CONFIDENCE" and act as if there is really nothing to it, ok? YOu will make it. I know. Thank God for the good person that gave you those download links. You need to work as well o!

@ Beaf The Google Web OS is actually meant for heavy internet users (like my humble sef) and I think it is quite a great idea, and an outstanding motivation to web 2.0 enthusiasts all over the world.

My only regret is that they are a bit loud mouthed. I wish they surprised Microsoft by launching the product suddenly, and not announcing their "intention" to do so. Hope Microsoft doesn't do something about this "Web OS" innovation, because I love Google Corporation.

I even heard they are working on a Web OS. Those guys are ever ready to take the world by storm!
