SixSeven: OP what about those who are permanent corpers? They do POP every year and come back into the system. It's such a mess. That's one hell of an allegation. I'm sure NYSC will be more than happy to have such loophole exposed. |

So many childish people nowadays. While I'm not against them divorcing, what's the nonsense about the "my baby is free" post?
If at some point in your life you openly claim to love or respect someone, your stance towards them shouldn't change just because you have irreconcilable differences. If it does, that is an admittance that your words should never be taken seriously because you clearly don't reason before you say them.
You can be divorced and still have mutual respect for each other. That is maturity. Not all these divorces that one party (mostly females) will start giving the impression that they've been living in hell. |

Fuckingmallam45: That means I need to go back and change my nin to it's original age against the one I falsely changed it to. That will make it align with my present jamb details Not like it's relevant for NYSC but you should do that. |
NYSC › Re: Your NYSC Questions Answered by SmartNYSC: 5:11pm On Oct 24, 2025 |
Fuckingmallam45: Hello everyone, I need some clarification regarding an issue. I gained admission into the university in 2020, and at that time, NIN was not required for JAMB registration. The age I used then was my real age. I graduated in 2025, but I recently discovered that I am now above the age limit for NYSC service.
To address this, I went to the NIN office to reduce my age, and the change has taken effect. However, my concern is that my school records are based on the details from my original JAMB registration.
If I go to the JAMB office to correct my age so that it matches my new NIN record, will that automatically update my school details as well? And will I then be eligible to serve with the NYSC? I'm sorry to sound pessimistic but going to the JAMB secretariat won't change your date of birth. You just have to accept the fact that you are most likely going to be exempted after online registration. |

chisun89: Good evening everyone, please I have a question. My younger sister was mobilized but couldn't register because of NIN issue. My question is does she need to apply for remobilization or is it automatic?
Will she be able to register for the next batch?
Will she be affected by this new NERD clearance? Where was she unable to register. Online registration or camp? The NERD clearance compliance applies to every prospective corps member who has documented at the orientation camp. |

Postinor: good day sir, pls what is the solution if the name on my jamb caps is different from all other of my documents, that is the middle name,I applied for jamb change of name but it wasn't approved, pls what is the solution towards applying for nysc Good morning. NYSC relies on the name uploaded by your school on the senate list for mobilization. They don't use the name on your JAMB profile. https://nyscwhatsappgroup.com/jamb-matriculation-list-for-nysc/ However, if your school feels there is sn anomaly in your JAMB name, they might not mobilize your details on the senate list. This means if your school is cool with your details on JAMB, you shouldn't be worried. https://nyscwhatsappgroup.com/nysc-senate-list/ |

Plaitex: Hello, Please has anyone been in a similar situation. My sister has a 5 month old baby at hand and has been posted to a private school in Ibadan. She wanted this school to reject her but they refused. Now she has been given 3 subjects in the private school with a total of 36 periods a week. This is really difficult for her as the school has refused to allow her close earlier and insist on closing by the usual 4pm closing time.
How can she reasonably navigate this situation? The LGI is not of any help. She should write a formal letter to NYSC through her LGI stating her condition as a nursing mother, and attach proof (like the baby’s birth certificate). If the LGI isn’t helping, she can escalate to the Zonal Inspector or State Secretariat. NYSC policy allows nursing mothers to be considered for lighter workload or reposting, so she shouldn’t keep quiet. You can check this PPA article for more tips about unfavorable situations like this. https://nyscwhatsappgroup.com/top-nysc-ppa-tips-for-a-successful-service-year/ |

Doing menial jobs because you lost your certificate? You ought to have gone to the NYSC headquarters in Abuja to complain about it. Even though they won't issue you another certificate, there's another document they will give you that will serve as lien. Can't remember the name and procedure. |

Note: The discrepancy is just one day difference - 17th February and 18th February
Thanks You don't need to worry because NYSC is not interested in your date of birth birth on other platforms apart from JAMB. Your can read this guides for more insight: https://nyscwhatsappgroup.com/nin-for-nysc-registration/https://nyscwhatsappgroup.com/jamb-matriculation-list-for-nysc/ |

Secondly, getting exempted from NYSC is not a matter of choice. You fall in that category because you tick some certain conditions. treasurlve: He said that out of the 15 persons he worked with, he has already gotten relocation approval for all of them — only mine is still showing “processing.” He mentioned that maybe something is wrong with my details.
I’m worried because that’s exactly what the first person who did the redirect posting said too, and he never told me what was wrong.
But I just confirmed from my friends: none of the Ekiti corpers in my room has seen their relocation approval yet. My plug reached out and said he is working on it and should update me 2–5 days after camp.
Even at that, if there’s anything I need to do to ensure this doesn’t fail, please let me know.
Thank you all. Nothing that I know. If possible that it eventually fails, you can find someone else to help you run it. |

NYSC › Types Of Corps Members At The NYSC Orientation Camp by SmartNYSC(op): 11:31pm On Jun 24, 2025 |
There’s something almost magical about NYSC orientation camps. It's not because the mattresses are soft. No, they’re not. Neither is it because the food are irresistible. I can assure you that it's not always so.
It's the people!
It can be that roommate who snores like a bus engine or the girl in your platoon who always carries perfume like oxygen. The beauty of camp is in the chaos, and that chaos is powered by the characters in it.
Before long, you begin to realize that camp isn’t just a place. It’s a show. Every person plays a role. Some are loud, some quiet. Some smart, some surprisingly clueless. Some come ready to learn. Others just came because they had no choice.
Whether you’re yet to register or already counting down to the NYSC camp opening date, here’s a preview on the kinds of people you’ll probably meet and how they’ll shape your camp story.
The English Professors You’ll spot these ones easily. Once they speak, it’s clear that they didn’t grow up watching Nollywood movies. Their accent is smooth and their vocabulary will leave you checking Google under your breath.
One moment you’re all joking about the horrible camp food, next thing they’re saying, “The culinary experience here is quite underwhelming.” You’ll sit there thinking, “bros, it’s just beans wey no done nah.”
They pronounce “schedule” as “shed-yool,” and you’ll start doubting the “sked-yool” you’ve used all your life...
👉🏽 Read Full Article HERE . For those who have been to camp already, which of these categories can you relate with? |
