Please, I have my Canada study permit approved after September 3, 2024 (me and my family) I contacted my institution to find out if i can still make it. the answer was NO and they asked i defer to next year (2025) September. I also received the LOA for deferral to fall 2025. My question is: since my approved visa would still be valid as at fall 2025, Would border officials allow me and my family to enter Canada and upon starting of classes I apply for extension of study permit inside Canada? Could someone help me with this answer? Thanks a million

I need advice please.

I applied for study permit in June and got approved in October but because of how long it took, the school had already told me to apply for FALL 2025 in September before approval came in October.

Now I have a few questions:

1. If I get a new admission letter, do I need a new study permit for same DLI?
2. My medicals will expire May 17, 2025. Can I enter by first week of May for September resumption?
3. My current study permit will expire April 2026. When can I extend my study permit?

Please how do I get an appointment for B1/B2 in Abuja? Its been showing no appointment available since two weeks ago. I even tried Lagos. I need to attend a training in July, the problem is that the date was not stated on the invitation letter. Would I still be able to do emergency appointment?
