I purchased Spectranet 5G bundle on Monday 11th January 2016 and by Saturday morning 16th January, I can’t browse again. At first I thought it was a joke until your customer care agent called my line reminding me that I have exhausted my 5 gig data bundle. Furthermore, my spouse recommended Spectranet to her company and when she came back last Friday 16 January 2016, she told me that ”Spectranet has started their tricks just like….’. She explained to me how they loaded 20G on Monday too and by Friday morning, it was already 9G. They decided to monitor the usage when they had a meeting last Friday 15th January and noticed that for the period of the meeting when nothing was done on the internet, the data depleted by 6G and when they lodged the complaint, the rate of the data depletion reduced and up till now as I write 19th January, they are still using the 2G.

I have taken my time to write all this because you guys have also played your tricks on my data and if this is not resolved, I would continue dealing with you people using every means possible to make sure fellow Nigerian will not fall prey of your fraudulent practices. If you think that you can give bonus last year which was not solicited by your customers and then decide to take it back fraudulently by increasing the rate of data depletion, then you are wrong………..I would also make this known on ‘AsktheCustomer’ website where user experiences are expressed.

Just last week my phone ranged as I quickly take the call I noticed that it was a robocall, so annoying, I dropped the call immediately I was surcharged 30 Naira for one useless and needless 7days jokes or whatever I never solicited. Though the money is small but I never asked for such service and it will run every 7days, I then call customer care and their was no reasonable response and my airtime was not returned.
