Av been a visitor on nairaland since 2008 wen I was a fresh graduate looking for job so I got to do my first search on naija jobs via nairaland, after a while I register but later I lost d password to my email address so I cldnt access my acct.
After some years and dis year to be precise I decided to re - sub and maybe contribute meaningfully but all I'm seeing on dis forum r not encouraging... u read ow a victim was scammed by some1 dat paid for advert on here, u see tribalism at d highest order etc, u see new bloggers trying to promote their page by posting rubbish and asking u to click for more photo and most of dem r scammers dat u r prone to lose ur acct details or info if u there click, u read so many things dat r negative.


Dis message is for SEUN, It's likely u lose me on ur site if u don't find a lasting solution to all dis. And let me tell u dis if u don't know, some of ur moderators r tribalist and I wld like u to work on dat first.

gbanikiti: You can't travel the whole ibadan in a day? Do you mean the whole villages in ibadan or the developed part of ibadan?

Even if you are travelling from Lagos to Maiduguri, it will take you 22hours by road, not even upto a day.

Op: pls and pls stop comparing lagos to or wit ibadan and also wit no other state in Nigeria, abuja inclusive. Just compare lagos wit other African countries, lagos is a nation on or of its own. Lagos can stand as a country and it will survive, av been to so many developed/western countries so I know wot I'm saying but I'm a pure and pure ibadan boy 4/4.

Ow many 4-5 storey buildings do u find in edo, rivers, bayelsa, akwa ibom, cross rivers, benue? As dos states share boundary wit ur region... u hardly see it there not dat they r not there but dos places were not planned and designed to av kos dey dont av erosion problems. And also, ibos av houses in dos states I mentioned above and also oyo state, ow many of d houses built by d ibos in dos places r 5 storey building not dat dey don't build find houses but ow many r 5 storey building? A 4-5 storey building doesn't mean sophistication or modernity. @op, if ur father is still alive or ur grandpa ask him to tell u d story of nigeria and ow nigeria was planned according to each geo-zone.
D 5 south eastern states have 2 major problems: -ecological problem, and a tiny habitable land.
Ecological problem: d whole of south east is ravaged wit erosion as more Dan 50% of ur tiny land is lost to dat.

-size of d region: u and I both know dat d just only oyo state and d state of osun is larger Dan d whole of ur 5 south eastern state, dis is a known fact as u can Google it as well.
Now, losing 50% to erosion, d city planners of d nation designed and designated more Dan 2 storey building for most of d south eastern state so as to preserve d little u av left. Ask ur grandpa if he knows anybody working wit d govt in dos days so as to get more info on dat.

-federal college of cooperative studies also e level.
-federal skool of statistics at sasa, also hnd awarding skool and also mobilises for nysc.
-oyo state college of hygiene also at eleyele.
-oyo state skool of nursing and midwifery also at eleyele.
-the great polytechnic of ibadan... u can never ever compare ur state polytechnic wit d great poly ibadan wherever u may come from in dis country in terms of structure, past products and legacies, academics and international recognition. There op I challenge u on dis, name ur state poly and let's debate.

A mini museum:

-2 world class cinemas: d film house cinema at cocoa house and d ventura at sango.
-2 shoprite stores and d biggest in Nigeria presently.
-present ibadan: all d MAJOR roads in ibadan r dualised wit at least 4 lanes.
-ibadan is so vast dat we av over 15 new and developed areas wit modern facilities d problem is dey r just scattered every wia . Just 2 or 3 of dis areas will cover d whole of d developed Areas In ur state. U can ask ur brothers in ibadan dey will tell u d truth.

Banks:
In ibadan alone we av up to 15 branches of first bank even if not more Dan dat. And dis is almost d same case wit all d banks.
Op, I challenge u to give out d total number of first bank branches in d whole of ur state and compare it wit just ibadan alone but not oyo state as a whole.


U must never ever compare lagos state wit ibadan again in ur life as no state in Nigeria can be compared wit lagos. Dey compare lagos wit other African countries ni not wit a state in Nigeria.

D only state dat can be compared wit ibadan in terms of everything in Nigeria r just kano state and river state... any state out of dis 2, means u r just on here mocking ni.
