It is only in South Africa that you hear Gripen is better than Su 30 not even sweden claim such.

Is in South Africa you hear that a navy with 4 Frigates and 3 submarines with no air arm is the most modern in Africa.

It's only in South Africa you see an air force with air almost All their craft as transport air craft is the most modern in Africa.

Only in South Africa we have fighter Jets with no pilots to fly them is the most modern

Is only in South Africa we hear that army with no combat experience is the most modern In Africa.

It's only in South Africa we hear training experience is better than real combat experience.

It's only in South Africa we hear 11 combat helicopters that no 1 wants to buy is the best in the world.

Very dumb set of African that believe Africa is there problem.

It's only in South Africa you hear their defence industry is better than that of India and China.

Only South African believe their country produce the best MRAPs.

Only South Africa host major competition and always come last.

When will this people wise up and face reality.

The entire world see potentials in Nigeria that they don't see in South Africa. And that is why we will still become the superpower that Africa is wait for.
What the he'll. You smoke mokey sh*t dude. You shouldn't bothered to type such nonsense. POTENTIAL and Nigeria don't equal.

Why cant you be as truthful on NL as you are on Beegeagle, Agaugust?

Oga Sir Kay, Nigeria needs a modern and powerful military to be on that seat, that UN position is not for a country flying F-7 jets and driving T-72 tanks, with zero Submarines, it is for a world medium power to join the super/major powers already there.

South Africa is competing for that same seat and they have a far better equipped military and world class local defence industry. The only edge Nigeria has over them is ‘experience’ mixed with bad records of embarrassing defeat at home in the hands of Bokos before we reversed the situation.

The responsibility for a United Nations permanent security council seat occupant is above the level of someone begging around the globe for tear gas to fight a war and importing simple dumb bombs that have existed since 1920. Best of luck to my country, I love my Nigeria no matter what"

You clowns from Soweto have consistently been un-able to dispute any of the facts i have provided on the pathetic state of your air force.
Go around Naija look for sane person" if you'll find 1" ask them to compare between the two air forces and tell you which is pathetic. No matter how much you wish some things aren't comparable

Sinking to where?
NN has the highest number of high endurance OPVs in Africa,at least 70% of them are confirmed active; and we are currently building more combat vessels in the dockyard.
We have sophisticated AEWACS and anti submarine aircrafts on constant aerial surveillance of our territorial waters.
We arent sinking anywhere anytime soon.
I bet to differ mate, this is a sinking navy . lol this the 70% active vessels? Such nonsense

You are a Soweto nation of hopeless losers!

- 1 qualified Pilot to land on a ship at sea

- 0 combat qualified Gripen pilots

- 9 Gripen Pilots for 26 planes.

Pathetic military for a pathetic country.

NAF doesn't need pilots to land at sea you illiterate, that's the job of Nigerian Navy pilots.
You claims have been proven time and again not to be true. Your story is getting old.

Google it dummy and stop ranting. NN/NA has it, SAN has nothing like it. Simple. Eat humble pie.

Nigerian has 60 stealth Combat Catamaran IPVs, same way the dullard Southie jn115 came here last year newly and started disputing it until I proved it with sources and photos. I have repeatedly posted it more than 10 times in 3 years on this thread.

I am not going to repeat that story with sources and photos for any other South African, I have a job to do in my office, and no time to waste with fools that your country produces...fools like you.

SIPRI says we bought 120 Big Foot, even patches won't dispute that.....something tells me envy is soaking you to burst into pieces today.

See, the whole South African army does NOT have a 10 firing pot LAV like Nigeria's new Spartan Mk III....nothing like it in your dry army.

Streit Company, the manufacturer, has listed Nigeria as one of it's biggest customers in the world ! Go die of envy brah grin grin

The Puma M26-15 has 12 firing ports mate

Fool grin

Nigeria buys lots of brand new stuff, including the types that South Africa does not have, e.g.

18 units Mi-171 Terminator armed assault helicopters
5 units guided missile armed CH-3 Drones
2 ATR-42 Surveyor ISTAR / MPA aircraft
2 Beechcraft 350E ISTAR aircraft
2 Diamond DA42 ISR aircraft
47 BTR-3 Guardian IFV
120 Bigfoot MRAPs
120 Spartan LAV
200 Cobra APC
72 VBL LAV
25 Igirigi LAV
2 Stealth OPV
2 Stealth MPV
60 stealth IPV
200 Gun boats
12 Eurocopter Fennec armed scout helicopters
Many Aeryon Quadcopter drones

The Nigerian military arsenal is 90% brand new purchased weapons.

Fool, you say we only buy second hand, no wonder you said after one year on this thread you don't see anything that makes Nigeria powerful, I guess your second hand brain only thinks of a few second hand equipment, the new ones you are too retaaaaared to notice....mumu grin grin
.
Oh boy! This is Nigerian definition of STEALTH 60 IPV,2 OPV,2 MPV. Went to your navy's website

Lol old fighter jet fumes affecting their thinking capacity, maybe the day they buy proper equipment they will start thinking clearly

I honestly don't understand their level of analysing situations military wise. We buy what is needed and buy new. They buy used equipment and randomly. their military inventory shows they don't have policies governing military purchasing. Shame poor country

Fellow South Africans quick one how many Cheetah fighter jets are still in SA, I know Denel has 2 for testing purposes but my residence is in Centurion and since last night jets were flown which I thought it was the Gripen's but today realised it's 4 Cheetahs being flown throughout the day. Anyone has any ideas?
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Sobuza3: 10:31am On Sep 02, 2015
Good day fellow Africans I've been following this thread for over a year now and still to date Nigeria has yet to provide proof that they are stronger than us (mzansi) thought by now you would have at least bought the

1.Tucano (not that it's any threat but Nigers think a front propelled plane can compete with a jet but hey we from different parts of the continent, obviously different levels of thinking)
2. Signed the JF 17 or Russian fighter jets deal (yawn)
3. Other deals Augustus claimed Nigeria is buying.

You've been window shopping for a while now and really hope you buy something worth debating.

Today, 06:53 AM Sport24
Cape Town - The city of Durban has been confirmed as historic host of the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

The announcement was made in Auckland, New Zealand on Wednesday.

It will be the first time an African city hosts the Commonwealth Games.

Canadian city and previous host Edmonton withdrew from the 2022 race in February, citing oil price-related financial concerns, leaving the South African port as the only bidder.

"A historic decision for all of us and one that my commission completely endorses," newly-elected Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) president Louise Martin told the organisation's general assembly in Auckland.

The next Commonwealth Games will be held at Australia's Gold Coast in 2018.
