9jatriot: You have to be possessed with the worse demon of envy not to appreciate what this man has done.
There were many folks who were given license to build refineries since 2004/5, rather than build they took the easy route and used their license to become importers and were collecting subsidy, Dangotte on the other hand first bought an ailing refinery which was revoked, rather than start crying he restrategized and undertook to build one of the world's biggest refineries.
If the man decides to sell his fuel at 2k, so be it. Afterall, when you guys import your products, no one fixes prices for you. If you do not like his price, go and also tie your money down while building your refinery. Lolzzzzz 🤣 "the more you look the less you understand" It's not your fault or dangote nigeria was created for crime, fraud and deceit |

On a serious note, it's not too difficult to grow tomatoes and peppers o. And they don't take too that long to fruit. I've been learning on YouTube.
Na to grow onions hard pass. Utube farmer ☺️ Insecurity, transport cost, cost of inputs all contribute in different measure to high cost Tomato and pepper need good management to grow in the south, I don't even think onion can do well |

grandstar: Saudi Arabia hasn't done much with their oil.
Were this a European country, it's per capita income would be $85,000 and sovereign trust fund will hold $5 trillion.
Saudi Arabia and Saudi Arabians basically live off oil. Over 40%, if not 60% of Saudis who work do so for the government. This is simply ridiculous.
It's people are lazy and very entitled. Everyone one wants a cozy government job with a fat salary.
Energy is heavily subsidized. Electricity is very cheap.
All this is greatly draining the Saudi purse and the monarchy would love to end this, but is petrified of violent regime change.
The indulgences can not continue forever. So they don't subsidise in Europe or America? What's the population of Saudis that majority of its citizen won't be working with government What do they want to use the money's for since you want them to burden their citizens with levies Funny |

I am a Muslim from the North, you will never see any of my people curse or defame religious elders over Politics. Not even people of the opposite faith.
Funny enough, it's the same set of tribalists that prides themselves as good Christians. Is this what your holy Bible teaches you? Don't you have shame?

ohosi4real: Abeg make all this men accept the 60k approved by federal government. What really matters for people of Nigeria that will benefit everyone in the country is fuel prices to be reduced to two hundred naira not wage Govt have removed subsidy so how can fuel price reduce From Where do you think state government are getting increase allocation ? How can 60k work for workers,? Use your brain |
Politics › Re: Minimum Wage: ₦250,000 Demand Not Sacrosanct - TUC Says by soccerlite: 8:32am On Jun 15, 2024 |
If not that Edo government of pdp has stated paying 70k, nothing will make this satanic apc tinubu government pay more than 60k
Edo became their Achilles heel.
Even if they open all the borders, distribute free food, nothing can make commodities prices to fall in nigeria
The threshold ( subsidy removal, dollar, etc) has been passed
For me with restructuring ( creation of state police, adjusting allocation sharing formula to increase for states), 85k can improve the spending power of the masses |
