Nobody said Peter Obi has ruled Nigeria before. But leadership is not only judged after presidency, people also look at track record, prudence, transparency, and how someone handled previous responsibilities.

As governor, Anambra moved from owing salaries and debts to becoming one of the states with savings and investments. So when people talk about competence and accountability, that’s what they refer to.

And comparing everybody to Buhari before they even enter office is exactly why Nigeria never moves forward. By that logic, nobody deserves a chance.
