At the initial stage when Buhari took over he was having health challenges and most people including Atiku thought he would not be able to finish.

Your lord and master was busy loitering around in the hopes that Buhari would not be able to continue so that he would step in as a replacement since everyone knew it was the turn of the north to produce the president.

Meanwhile in the PDP most of the principal members had abandoned ship except Wike and a few others, Wike took charge of the party and kept it from dying.

By 2019 when it was time for another election Buhari managed to hang on against all odds, by then your lord and master had realized there was no longer any hope for him in APC; he quickly ran back to the PDP the party he helped destroy and used his usual dollar mago-mago to get the presidential ticket while sidelining Wike who had kept the party alive when all of them jumped ship...as usual he lost the election.

In 2023 it was the turn of the south to produce the president yet this greedy fellow will not allow us enjoy our presidency in peace. All other northerners stayed away from the election but he still went to grab the ticket for president; this was the reason Wike vowed to work against him in that election.

In terms of being opportunistic Peter Obi dey learn work for where Atiku dey!
