Walcott improved in so many areas till wanting to play CF/RW and injuries marred him..He started running from tackles and got lazy..We should have sold him in 2016.

Many had gone to be better players, Gnabry,Oxlade,Benaccer,Vela and few more others, it can be argued they grew in lesser leagues and that shows how fans expectations and pressure makes development a bit hard especially among top teams in England...

No one here said he can’t improve, but trying to overhype his performance while comparing him with Torreira, etc and attacking those that don’t rate him was uncalled for.

Secondly, u can’t be patient with a player at the detriment of team results, he can come on as sub in EPL games and gradually grow into the games + there is the FA CUP, EFL and Europa.

What some don’t understand is Guen will come and go, the fact that he will improve is probable too as it’s not a certainty. He can even improve and decide to leave the club for a higher bidder, while we’ve suffered poor runs in the past just for him to grow.

For me the formation at 0-0 was OK. We had probably clearer chances at goal but couldn't take advantage. At the start of second half at 1-0, introducing Lacazette would have given us more bite and urgency, forcing Liverpool to retreat, and check their advancing fullbacks. It would have allowed us to attack more especially from the wings where I think Liverpool are weakest defensively.

The goal was a little relief.

The game against Spurs will be another tactical battle, we hope Emery comes out tops this time around.

That tactics was never okay, arsenal defence will surely crack and not equipped for packing bus style of play.
