From kick off the midfield just allowed Liverpool to play in our own half unperturbed. How long will it take before they crack.

We should have played them on counter with upthrough passes, with the midfield running up to support. But that didn’t happen cos anytime we even manage to send the long balls forward we isolate Pepe and Auba no midfielder to play with and support them upfront. Xhaka Torreira partnership would have worked better, cos the latter is fast and is better at decision making while the former though not good enough his stamina will come handy. But no!
