Tbh, top 4 is within reach. All Arteta just needs to do is give it our best shot. We know we can't win all our matches, but then even the Chelsea, Leicester et al aren't sure of winning all their matches too.

If I am Arteta, the only competition I'll take serious is the league(getting top4 now that it's still salvageable) and Europa. Any other competition, I won't give a damn. He knows how financially tight we're and those two are big avenue to get money and even players of your choice. I don't see the reason why one will risk them for Fa cup or Carabao cup who don't give much money(especially as he's even won the fa cup recently)

I think one of the things Arteta learnt from guardiola is to take every cup as champions league. That itself is not bad if only one has a good squad depth like PEPs man city. Ours is small, aside the good first team, the benchers are scrap

Why Arteta still thought it wise to be using Tierney and Mari in that game is really disappointing, esp as Tierney doesn't have any good competition/replacement. I don't think any arsenal fan will be angry even if we got eliminated from fa cup against Newcastle as long as those core guys doesn't play and as long as we are seeing results in the league.

He should be protecting ESR, Tierney, saka, leno and martinelli to the fullest cos for now these boys don't have any replacements. Any touch to 2 or more of that group and we're back to square zero

That's what every sane person should do, protect your precious assets, these guys are the one keeping us at this stage yet you used them anyhow without caution

On the defence:
Who would have thought arsenal defence will keep 4 straight CS without Gabriel involved in any(story for another day)
We have improved in that area and comfortable on the ball but we badly need another left back, I won't like to see AMN be a replacement for Tierney.

Midfield: over the last 2 games we kept possession for a long period of time can't remember the last we did that. Maybe the team's we played are not good enough to press us time will tell but xhaka ball movement have improved (I'm not buying his gbanjo) bit his stupid sideways passes exposed us to counter attacks which technical good teams will hurt us badly.
Attack:
We need another AM, ESR doesn't look like a 90min guy and he's putting legs in dangerous places I'm afraid for him honestly. Arteta is burning out these youngsters. Saka, ESR and martinelli should be helping not taking responsibility when we have senior players.
