Good morning, I was offered Assistant Manager grade in FIRS
Please can anyone confirm their salary

What you're going for is induction and not assumption of duty.

Assumption of duty Is the official first day on the job.
Assumption of duty can even be months after induction.
Do not resign yet.
I'm sure at the end of the induction, the date of assumption of duty and posting letter will be given to you.

A day or two to your assumption of duty you can resign. The reason for this is because unforseen circumstances may arise and the date can be postponed again and you Don resign with no cash inflow for you.

That's how one guy refused NNPC Gt offer because the salary no reach him ABO salary.. lmao
While comparing things like salary people forget things like pension, free time to enjoy your life and to a certain point job security.
With the way new banks are popping left right and center its only a matter of time for the banking industry to experience a down turn.

Collect your FiRS job, make sure you upgrade your skills and qualifications (most time you'll have to do it by yourself because most MDAs no dey try very few do)
Also as your upgrading yourself make sure to document everything with HR department (you no know where all these things fit carry you go)

On the outside people will think it is automatic enjoyment for you but no be so... lol.
Even inside the organisation you'll still need to know oga at the top for things to come to you.

FIRS GT makes about 500k basic, by the time you factor in the allowances, it should surpass your 650k monthly in the bank... assuming there's no allowance attached to the bank job. Why haven't you resigned before accepting FIRS offer though? I hope you don't run into problems later when FIRS embarks on their verification exercise as regards certificates and probably last employer.

At the 650k, all allowances have been factored in
But I just don't want to make hasty decisions, hence why I am asking
Also, offer letter has not been given, but we have induction next week...
