Datti already called ADC a deceptive party because that is what they are.

Who doesn't know the truth about getting passport in this recent past highlighted.

Not this story of grass to grace but grace to grass. That's the real test.

He only chose to call his a University.

Let's do some exercise in economics.

In 1976 1N was $1.26

$1.26 in 1976 is worth $7.10 today in 2025 based on inflation.

Multiple $7.10 by 20 you get $141.2 thereabout in today's money.

That was worth of the bribe the judge took in 1976 that got him arrested.

Go and marry your books.

If Tinubu's government behaves OBSINATELY like you Obidients, lacking humility and common sense, unwilling to learn and correct simply mistakes, I can't describe what would have become of this great country.

Politics › Re: Rivers: Wike Regains Control Of Political Structure As Fubara, Loyalists Boycott by Softmirror: 8:32am On Aug 31, 2025
Fubara miscalculated, his government would have been far more positively impartful than Wike's because that was Wike's intention of making him Governor so that he will be supported by his influence as a right hand man of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. But, Fubara ended up befriend the politicians who are enemies of the people of Rivers State.

There is no doubt that the people of Rivers State see Wike as a man of honor and majority are very loyal to him.

Wike is indeed a FIELD MARSHAL in Nigeria's politics. He under studies every battle and knows how to win.

I hope Fubara has learnt his lessons. If he likes he should return to his old ways of being unreasonable. He will be checkmated by from every corner.

casdoruche:
This Farooq lost relevance the moment he wrote articles and later retracted them. He only spews whatever the establishment allowed. A tribal bigot and a bias writer. Under Buhari he wrote so much like an activist but now he just writing to save his career and job. Writing against Obi and pushing his tribal takes under disguise of not taking sides.

Despite all now no one takes him serious. He sold his career for partisan and tribal politics
Same can be said about Deji. His romance with Peter Obi while writing against Tinubu.

Very true.

In 2014, a lady friend of mine lost his dad and when his house was cleaned out, they found a Receipt for a Piece of Land at Alimosho Area of Lagos. It was for a Piece of Land the man bought in 1976. The amount? N20 (Twenty Naira Only).

The Land was sold for N18m in 2016.
Imagine what that same land will be sold today, 2025.

Islam rejecting western education since the 70s
Simply because the foundation of western education in Nigeria was aimed at enhancing people to be able to read the Bible and become Christians. That was the aim.

Would you accept or reject Islamic education as a Christian?!

Bwanasaraw:
The ideology of BokoHaram and bandits is completely different from Niger Delta militants. Niger Delta militants fought for resource control and environmental pollution from oil exploration/exploitation while Boko Haram and Bandits are fighting for implementation of Sharia law in Nigeria. They said Western education is Haram. Since they are motivated by religion (Quran) no amount of negotiation/amnesty can stop them.
Seems you don't have clarity about the Northern dilemma. The likes of Gumi have advocated that the Federal Government should make Bandits our forest guards just like Tompolo and his likes have been made to guard our pipe lines while been paid handsomely.

.

Abdul, we knew all these while that all of you support what Bokoharam and bandits are doing, mostly when it doesn’t come near you.

But we choose to play along as if we didn’t know.

you just elaborated my whole point with that first question of yours. You are suppose to remove passport money from your minimum wage and you still have more than 50 to 70% of your wage.. Just look up other countries monthly minimum wage and their passport price you will see what I'm saying
You should be fighting to raise you minimum wage.

Ordinary N20 and the judge was dealt with..

Today, judges openly take bribes and houses in billions of naira from politicians like Wike and co in return for favourable judgements.

They've destroyed Imo state and now have Rivers State under siege.
The bolded statement shows the reason why most of you people's argument lacks substance. Try and find out the cost of a bag of cement in 1976 match it up with the price today that way you can have an idea of the value of #20 you are calling ordinary.

Meanwhile, their state government and LGA chairs are freely negotiating with bandits and terrorists.
There was a time in the history of this country. Just a few decades ago. Niger Delta militant groups became very notorious. The were committing all manners of crimes, from kidnapping, armed robbery, pipeline vandalism..........e.t.c, e.t.c while this was happening, the North never had what is being experienced as banditry or Boko Haram.

The Federal Government ended up sitting on a round table with the Niger Delta militant groups and today we can see all see.

Tareq1105:
I agree with you totally.

NDLEA really dealt with some fake millionaires.

NAFDAC should be up and doing.

Fuel Subsidy removal dealt with some fake fuel importers who claimed were importing fuel but without any known farm tank or fuel station.

Furthermore, the floating of the currency that removed govt from subsidizing forex market which eventually closed up the margins between bank and black market rates is another factor.
Your points are very solid.

No, Nigeria only lost the corrupt millionaires who stole us blind during the wicked reign of PDP.

Deziani and Dansuki comes to mind
As well as NDLEA 's aggressive approach under APC is another reason why. If NAFDAC are as active it would have dropped lower.
