It happened in April. The two arrested are not Pakistan immigrants. It's just the usual MISCHIEVOUS thread.

You accuse them of harassing people online but pretend to be blind when your tribesmen attack and kill other people for voting in elections.

Hypocrisy must really come from that region.
He was in full support of Obidients harassing and terrorizing people online just like Reno too was in their support until they started harassing and terrorizing him too. 😁😁😁😁

What a shame. Sinwar couldn't survive Israel's onslaught. Couldn't achieve his life aim of destroying Israel. Still couldn't save Gaza from turning into a car park.

Those they say will pay, aren't, rather thousands die in Gaza. Why do they keep dying in thousands?
Sinwar was honored with death.

The way it struck thousand of terrorists in Gaza under the rubble?😂😂
Those ones are willing to die. You are honoring them with death. Just try and rescue the hostages before they all end up dying which is a loss to Israel.

What a shame. Israel couldn't get to rescue this hostage. Still don't understand the whole sophistication of the Israeli intelligence. It just a shame.

Those you say will pay, are people who have been willing to die.

But Israeli hostages dying is a loss to Israel.

Yes we are aware that terrorist will try to fight back but Israel will keep eliminating them wherever they are. It's that simple.

Glad you finally admit Hamas kidnapped and murdered Israeli hostages, after all your denial. Another hostage’s body was just recovered , i’ll post about it soon so you can shed your tears.

Meanwhile, Sinwar is dead, thousands of Gaza terrorists are already gone, and the list keeps growing. Hamas has learned/learning, Hezbollah is still learning, and the Houthis will also learn the hard way: Israel is not a people you mess with.
Common hostages you can not free?! Na wa for una.

They can't eliminate the will of the people. Which is why till date Israel despite all of their so called sophistication have not been able to free Israeli hostages. Which indeed is a big shame!

You are deflecting from the point been raised. The question is why are fees for an international passport higher than the minimum wage. Other countries aren't doing the same, why is Nigeria any different?
If you know you don't have a answer, don't reply me again. Continue with your life. And I wish you the very best.
So how much should our passport cost so that someone with a minimum wage of 70,000 will be able to get one.

Your cry should be more on the minimum wage than on the price of passport.

This has nothing to do with hustle. But other countries are doing theirs just fine and theirs aren't above their own minimum wages. What makes Nigeria any different? Does South Africa, Egypt and Morocco have 2 heads. And they not also fighting corruption?
It is still an option to hustle yourself out of getting a minimum wage as your salary. Why don't you want to work on yourself?

When the minimum wage was N30k, how much was the passport?
Let us ask them to show us the statistics of the number of Nigerians who were able to get an international passport when the price was 'affordable'?!

When the price was 'affordable' the challenges in getting a passport was so much that time and money was so wasted. That was the reality!

Today it is different which comes with it's own price. You can't eat your cake and still have it.
We can only hold the minister accountable if he doesn't deliver at the appointment time frame set by his ministry.

It is like when Nitel was in charge of our telecommunications, I mean land lines telephones. How many Nigerians were able to own one despite the amount being paid when compared to the price of owning a line for mobile phone at the very inception of MTN which was very high.

No. It's not a yardstick, but the price is too steep. Look at fuel. 900/liter. How much is minimum wage?. Does it make sense to you that your salary is worth 70 liters of fuel?
Hustle o. Nobody pin you down! Hustle your life out of #70,000.

So we should go back to the days that you get scammed, get beaten by immigration officers just because you want passport?!

You can't eat your cake and still have it.
Politics › Re: Passport Fee Now Higher Than Minimum Wage – Peter Obi Blasts FG by Softmirror: 10:55am On Aug 29, 2025
How is minimum wage the yardstick for determining the price of an International passport?!

You mean if your minimum wage is #100,000 you will use it to purchase a passport instantly when your salary is paid?! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Is that how you will go about it?! Lol.😂 That is not rational. You will have to save to be able to afford it because their are other needs aside using the whole of your salary at once to purchase an international passport.

Can't you see the bigger picture?
There are less queue at filling stations because a lot of people cannot afford to buy the fuel.
Do you want the same thing for international passport too which is supposed to be affordable to the ordinary Nigerian citizens, including students?
Does it make sense to you that minimum wage is N70,000 and the passport is N100,000?

I can easily afford to pay for the passport, but the effect of govt policy it is not only about ''me, I, and myself''.
You need to re-educate your mind and how you think about these things.
Save for the passport. All this argument is uncalled for.

Education › Re: FG Never Signed Any Agreement With ASUU — Education Minister, Alausa by Softmirror: 9:16pm On Aug 28, 2025
drfasam:
Let me clarify the accuracy of the statement that the Federal Government (FG) "never signed any deal with ASUU in 2009 and 2011." That claim does not align with well-documented historical records.

---

Evidence That Deals Were Signed in Both 2009 and 2011

2009 Agreement — Fully Signed

In October 2009, after a prolonged strike lasting around four months, the Federal Government and ASUU signed a renegotiated version of the 2006 agreement, effectively calling off the strike. The signing was witnessed by Education Minister Sam Egwu, ASUU President Prof. Ukachukwu Awuzie, and pro-chancellors including Dr. Wale Babalakin .

The 2009 agreement also produced broader systemic reforms: issues such as revitalizing universities, enabling autonomy, revitalization funding, earned academic allowances, and more were addressed. The agreement took effect on July 1, 2009, with provisions like an increased retirement age for professors beginning immediately .

2011 Agreement or Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)

In September 2011, ASUU embarked on a two-week warning strike, which compelled the government to return to the negotiating table.

Subsequently, an MoU was signed in January 2011 (or shortly thereafter), aimed at resolving outstanding implementation issues from the 2009 agreement. The MoU stipulated that discussions on implementing the agreement were to be concluded by November 2011. Unfortunately, the government did not fully honor those commitments .
Which administration are you referring to?!
