Something happened today and sincerely if it didn't happen in my presence I would have faulted the Nigerian police. A driver drove against traffic 'one way' to a shop where he was sent to go load building materials. From no where two policemen came to the shop to tell the shop owners to always enlighten their customers about the dangers of driving against traffic. The were very polite not aggressive when they came. They advised that, If you are thinking of short cut, so as not to spend more on fuel your might end up spending your blood if it results to an accident, even lose your life.

So, they turned to the offender to just warn him not to do that again when they were about to leave. The stup!d driver, instead of keeping quiet. The next thing he said was, "did you see me take one way". He openly denied everyone saw. That was what provoked the policemen. The driver then said "do you have a video to prove I took one way". The policemen didn't argue further. They just called their area commander and three more officers came who whisked him away. So you can imagine not having the background of what transpired but all you saw is when being bundled.

Adeyanju, who is also VeryDarkMan’s legal counsel make the warned him on Sunday via a post on his X account.

In his post, Adeyanju revealed that he frequently advises VDM to be careful, but his counsel is often not heeded.

VeryDarkMan’s lawyer warned himthat the public’s support is fleeting, and if anything were to happen to VDM, the general populace would quickly move on.

“I call VDM every time to be careful and stop taking unnecessary risk but he doesn’t listen most of the time,” Adeyanju wrote.

“If anything happens to you today, everyone has moved on by tomorrow. We only overrate ourselves, Nigerians don’t rate anybody.”

Adeyanju’s public warning comes in the context of VDM’s controversial and high-profile activism.
