The tribal hatred didn't start with APC
. You can dig it up as far back as the 60s. In IBB's recent book, he told us about how the North who initial perception of the coup was seen as a military coup but changed when they became a thing of mockery by people of South East Nigeria who were most dominant as members of the coup plotters. It didn't start today and it won't end anytime soon.

With regards GEJ, it was an in house PDP war against him because the North thought it was their political right for power to remain in the North after the Death of Yar'adua.
