The arrest was wrong to start with, he works for an organization, the organization is an entity in itself and he is not the owner of the organization, so why arrest him?

I am a fresh graduate, left NYSC few months back and recently landed a graduate trainee job at one of our commercial banks here in Nigeria. But I have been afraid recently. This is because I will be under sales/marketing. And I have been hearing of all these 50m, 90m, etc. deposit targets.
Training school will be commencing soon and a part of me is telling me not to report.
Please, who have experience how these things work? Advise me please.

don't allow lazy people to talk you out of opportunity, you are fresh and young, the experience and bank name on your CV will be instrumental to your next job. if you are a direct bank hire, marketing is not as difficult as you hear people talk about it, most people are lazy and lack creativity, they are just looking for more people to join their wagon

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Which Would You Advise Going For: A 130k Job In Ibadan Or A 200k Job In Lagos? by solacong: 12:10pm On Feb 15
it all depends on what you value at this point in your life, if you want a easy going and no-stress life, Ibadan might be good for you, but if you value rapid growth and the opportunity to grow very fast, Lagos is the way to go

Business / Re: CBN Edges Towards Free Float Of Naira With Discontinuation Of Cap On Forex by solacong: 9:45pm On Feb 09
it simply means that getting dollars becomes tougher and the little available that might come into the country via pocket or smuggling would be very selling as the highest bidder, they felt those dollars coming in via transfer would be mopped by the government when it has exchanged for naira but they forgot the diaspora would also stop sending money to Nigeria with this their policy.

Don't forget we have all these platforms where people can collect and exchange dollars and most of those organisations are not based in Nigeria

it is well oh

Another step in the right direction. There will be massive increase in price of imported goods, so local production will be the focus.

To thrive, we have to move from consumption of foreign goods to production and exports.

in a consumer country like ours, where we import everything? he go clear, no be so subsidy was removed with any plan, we go learn by force!
Business / Re: Can't Send Dollars To Nigeria Any More by solacong: 1:48pm On Feb 09
Ttalk:
Good for the economy.

A government that is bold enough to remove subsidies should not be afraid of any backslash that may arise from any measure to save the naira.

Let all remittances be converted to the naira equivalent so the government can have enough dollars for people doing genuine business in need of dollars.

All domiciliary accounts with idle dollars should be taxed.

did you say good? they will end up increasing the scarce dollar, we shall see, but wetin I know sef!
