Another date is fixed because these vacancies are available after reg. They'll collate the list of those that didn't accept their admissions so as to know the no. of slots available. I think we all do matric together, though.

Not likely but there's sure to be more admissions later before matriculation. Sales of admission slots, of those admitted but didn't accept or failed to me the necessary requirements, are done. Its only if you have "long legs", though. You'll have to meet people in high places for such(starting from people in the desired department).

The requirements to be printed are as follow:
1. WAEC/NECO/GCE O'Level result(s)
2. Birth Certificate/Sworn Declaration of Age
3. Admission Letter (printed with N1000 JAMB e-facility card)
4. UTME Original Result Slip (also printed with N1000 JAMB e-facility card)
5. Post UTME result/Pre-degree final result (printed with OAU screening result checker)
6. Local Government certificate of origin.

Upon successful access to the eportal with your 2014/2015 JAMB reg number, you are also required to print:

6. NOTIFICATION OF ADMISSION (admission status on eportal)
7. Bio-data form (course reg form)
8. Hostel slip (optional)

None other that I know of. A sworn court affidavit is the acceptable form of correction for documents independent of OAU. If its to be done, the time should be soon because you'll need it to "defend" the document's authenticity.

I think WAEC should be able to rectify it but I've not heard of anyone that did such . The decision to try it is up to you. Just go and complain at a nearby WAEC office.

Hi guys n gals. Its been a while since i last visited here. Giving a big shout-out to my colleagues: papindinho, miracy, temitope23, jaryeh, and other special ones, doing their best to help y'all with necessary information. Wishing them success in the upcoming exams.

I hope you are all prepared for resumption? These are somethings to be mindful of during this period:

First of all, Ensure that you have all your documents at hand before April 20th, the online screening date, because failure to do so could lead to serious setbacks for you. A common issue is students not having their LOCAL GOVERNMENT CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN ready.

Furthermore, make sure that you are very careful when making payments at the banks. Delays in your payment confirmation could arise easily due to personal mistakes or the bank's fault. Such delays could hinder other needed processes like Hostel approval, Course registration e.t.c. This particular problem could last till the middle of the semester if one's not careful. Hint: Ask of anyone who has recently approved a payment successfully and get the bank's details from them. It could give clues as to the banks that are temporarily good to pay through(it sometimes "flunctuate" due to network instability). Also, you are not restricted to make all three(or more) payments at the same bank.

This next one you may all be aware of but no vacancy for excuses. Don't make the mistake of typographical errors while filling important details on any form. You make a mistake at your own detriment(it'll cost you your time and money).

As for those of you that hardly check on this thread, try your best to follow through the thread often, at least once in a day. And by April 20th when reg. will start, make sure you report any issue "onto" the thread to know if the issue is personal or general; and seek advice promptly.

That's all I have to say for now. I conclude with this: "If you aren't informed, you'll be deformed".
