Good evening my people, please I need an advice on this issue.
It happens that my landlord issued me a quit notice of seven(7) days yesterday 24th of September 2021 without any offence. And my house rent will expire by September 30th 2021. The landlord and I didn't have any agreement paper signed when I paid for the rent last year October 2020, he only gave me a receipt of payment by December 2020 after I have moved into the apartment. I never told him I will not renew my rent at the end of September 2021 but I only told him to give me a little time till October ending due to the problem I have at my working place which I explained to him 2weeks ago. And he has never gave me any quit notice before.

Please, what can I do because the seven (7days) notice will laps by 2nd of October 2021
