1st - 4th inmates Michael fashola , mufutau Tokosi , Abidemi kolawole and fatal Onifade in a murder related case against one late ubah aka Onwa.
The correctional centre ikoyi , Lagos state, attention has been drawn to spurious allegations against our clients and the prison officials, making the rounds online and on social media. The unsubstantiated claims and accusations designed to mislead the judiciary and general public are completely false, treacherous and libelous.
This latest attempt to bring the image of the prison service now correctional centre to disrepute is the result of a failed blackmail and extortionist attempt, which has been reported to the appropriate authorities. We urge the public to disregard the falsehood in its entirety.
As a full- fledged Nigeria prison service, now correctional centre operating in Nigeria, we are a responsible corporate service and our operations are guided by the laws of the Nigeria constitution.
The insinuation that the above mentioned inmates are not attending the court or they were taken to an hotel instead of court are baseless and false narrative to mislead the public . Law does not base on sentiment, these 4 inmates attends there court regularly on the given dates .
We remain committed to providing excellent and diligent services to all and will not be distracted by the antic of these detractors.
And a law suit will be slam on the publisher of this false informations , this is tantamount to defamation of characters.
