Nobody is playing down on ur notice,but dates obtained on websites are credible,ASU gave 13th february as the date of notification of semifinalists,i indicated that here and though largely a dissapointment,every stakeholder here got their decision on the same day,and like i said earlier after gleaning through the official website of university of toronto i came by an official page and the highlight of the page was written like this

13th march 2015:date of notification of successful candidates.
1st april 2015:date of notification of the rest(unsuccesful candidates).
i checked the calender and i realised that 13th march falls on friday,similar to 13th february of ASU
so i will like us all to keep our fingers crossed till 13th march and be hopeful that God will look our way.i believe these schools keep their words,their might be side arrangements between the bank and university of toronto,and that is kenya,their are so many other countries whose citizens are eligible for this,and to be fair enough i think they would not lie on their websites,so let us pray and hope God looks our ways this week.

that means the banks are doing ground workings for Kenya peeople

i dont recollect where i got it,i am sure of that,succesful applicants will be notified on that date,and unsuccesful applicants will be notified by 1st april

I spoke with an Anonymous but authentic source, and i can confirm that the applicants who have been admitted to McGill are a little above 65, with a few more admissions soonest and it might get to 70. Thus, the battle for 14 positions is fierce, He said that this pool of applicants are exceptional and the decisions are based on their essays, and it really hard. He also confirmed that organizational affiliations is neither a plus nor a minus.

Them scholars aren't speaking up, heaven help me, I get it, these are some of issues I need to raise up in the scholars meeting.

Now thats the painful thing... Its just ASU.. I wish i had asked/told him to apply to MSU also.. I feel guilt in my mind because i didnt tell any single soul i appled to MSU not even my dad or any closer family member and not until mid-week when i got to know that im supposed to send over my transcript... Honestly i feel like i betrayed him and its eating me up and now i dont knw how to tell him... :-(

OK he did not send his transcript and he wrote the toefl that is really painful

Could do nothing buh pity one of my close friends wgo applied to just ASU and upon all the suufering and late night brainstormings to write essays he got rejected... Apart from that, toefl palava... Imagine going to write toefl at abj from minna... I tell u that day wasnt funny.. I had my share of problem that day... Khai, i really feel for the guy oo.. And myself too.. Lol.. A lil bit sha.. My headache is that UBC accepted me but it was in Okghan campus. Decisions have not been made of courses for the vancouver campus! Some body go like wish me luck?

congrats, when did you get your decision but for the campus issue MCF is on Vancouver were you the one that submitted the online application yourself or MCF did ?

Honestly, I have no idea, the rejection this year is just too much, way too much, I have not gotten any good news yet, maybe the stakes were a lot higher this year and those with the highest of transcript and WAEC grades may get in...

#my opinion though!

It's not possible.
First you have to get admitted to a school first, in each school there is what they call the MCF committee (four people, when you get in you will know), After you must have received admission, your Essays now and others details in your application will be forward to the MCF committee to review, and at the end (in McGill case) 13 students are selected from those that got admitted.
And the scholarship is for a life time, now in my case, Normally If you already have the scholarship with another school, you can't apply to others (all one body) but I was allowed to, because the Canadian Embassy denied me entry (that is why I'm only applying to schools in US) MCF chair person actually spoke to US schools on my behalf too, but they say blah blah I have to write SAT and then get admission, that's why mine is different (although McGill is still working on my Visa issue, this is like a backup plan, if things don't go well).

On a normal day:Admission First before scholarship note: 100 Students can be admitted but few will get MCF offer.

Mr Andrew (McGill MCF Program Manager) said he even spoke to stanford on my behalf before now but the yeye school just wan form agbo for me, it's their loss sha, I would have invented flying House for them. that's that!

I have been great o, just on low keys these days sha.

BTW unlike you guys, I'm not vying for the MCF spot, I already have it, im actually looking for admission elsewhere (you can call it transfer) MCF is same organisation all over.

Mr Chris one can get the MCF scholarship and not get admitted to the school
