Ofemannnu:wetin concern Makinde with security? According to Nigeria constitution, security, begins and ends with the President. Because he's the commander-in-chief of the armed forces of Nigeria |
Afriifa:free or not, whoever Kwankwanso picks will still win the governorship election |

Madrid gets who they want in their team. If Olise doesn't come to Real Madrid next or the next two seasons, that means Madrid didn't really want him. Because they always get who they want and need. |

Denying bail to a figure like Mallam El-Rufai would not be just a legal matter, it would quickly become a high-stakes political issue with ripple effects across party unity, regional dynamics, judicial credibility, and national stability. El-Rufai is a prominent and influential Northern figure with strong networks across northern Nigeria. Denying him bail could deepen factional divides within the Northern bloc. It'll trigger elite infighting, especially among northern political blocs. Which might lead to loss of cohesion ahead of 2027 general election or major policy negotiations. El-Rufai has considerable influence in northern Nigeria. Denial of bail may provoke backlash from northern political elites and voters. It could strain the APC’s regional support base, especially if perceived as targeting northern leadership unfairly. Major opposition parties like the ADC, could capitalize on the situation by portraying the APC led govt as killer of opposition voices and authoritarian. Which may strengthening their narrative ahead of 2027 The North don't forget. They will surely respond at the appropriate time . |
It getting hotter each passing day. Obi/Kwankwaso ticket would have shake APC but a few structural realities of Nigerian elections complicate that combination. For me, the Atiku/Obi ticket might be the only viable one for ADC, though debatable. Yes, combining Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi would theoretically merge northern PDP-style voting blocs with Obi’s urban/youth base. On paper, that looks formidable. But in practice, there are three constraints: 1. Voter Transfer Is Not Automatic Political support in Nigeria is not plug-and-play. Obi’s base (especially the “Obidient” movement) is ideological and personality-driven, not just party-loyal. Many supported him against the old political order—of which Atiku is seen as part. So an Atiku/Obi ticket could actually demobilize part of Obi’s core support, not strengthen it. 2. Northern Arithmetic Is More Nuanced Some persons are saying that the North is decisive, but it’s not monolithic. Kwankwaso still commands a loyal regional base (Kwankwasiyya movement), especially in Kano. That influence may not win a national election alone, but it can split northern votes in a way that reshapes the outcome. Also, some persons are saying the North won't vote Obi. The assumption that the North won’t vote Obi is partly overstated. The real issue is not rejection - it’s structure and elite alignment, which Obi currently lacks in the region. 3. Incumbency Advantage BAT has the biggest structural advantage: incumbency. That includes: Established political machinery across states Influence over party structures Access to state-level alliances Even a strong opposition ticket must overcome that institutional weight, not just popularity. If the ADCs can unite no matter what happen at their primary,.then, APC will surely have many sleepless nights. For a fragmented opposition will give Tinubu the edge. That’s the biggest winning factor for APC. If ADC, PDP remnants, and other blocs don’t consolidate, Tinubu benefits regardless of who runs. A More Realistic Winning Formula for ADC is a North–South balance, with strong grassroots mobilization with a clear economic message that resonates beyond social media An Atiku/Obi ticket is one strong scenario but not the only one, and not risk-free. In Nigerian politics, coalitions win elections only when both elites and voters align ADC IS COMING. |
Archworld:u dey reason well. How did she also get the LG Chairman’s account details for the intended refund? Probably, they must have done some transactions before now |

Strong man Togo. Togo worry sha. |
DeOTR:This appears to be exactly what Mallam intends. By provoking his own arrest, he seeks to legitimize his allegation—despite its lack of truth—and to depict the NSA as incompetent and unprofessional. |
hotwax:Who told you he goofed? I don’t believe it was a mistake. He did what he did intentionally—either to throw the presidency into confusion or to distract them from whatever case he has with law enforcement agencies. His actions appear deliberate, possibly to creat confusion within the presidency . |

Bro, abeg, get money, e get why. And if she no dey pick ur call, you too stop calling her nah, na by force. |
I took time to read and listen to what she said, and honestly speaking, she has a point. Some parts of her theory actually make sense. That doesn’t mean she’s right sha, but she did raise some valid points. Still, there are many unanswered questions. She lives upstairs, not on the ground floor. Two cobras were found in her apartment—where did they come from? The sewage? I’m not really convinced. Abeg, I’m tired of this Nanya matter. RIP 🕊️ to the death. |

The fear of coup, is surely the beginning of what again? They are denying that there's no coup attempt but they are taking some actions that making Nigerians to doubt their denial. |
