My father was tough , abusive and extremely malicious.. made it clear he wasn't my friend or mate. The only time I could stay even 1 minute close to him was either he was beating me or verbally abusing me.

I left home as a teenager to university and stayed away for 3 years.. didn't visit and they didn't bother.
