Like the recent 'house' drama involving relationship blogger, Blessing Okoro and Onye Eze, an Abuja based comedian has been called out for flaunting bundles of dollar bills that belongs to billionaire, Ned Nwoko.



According to people blasting him, the comedian identified as 'Shortcut', 'borrowed Dollars meant for Ned Nwoko's logistics on his private jet to take pictures and mislead the public as he showed off that he was 'well paid' for a show In Asaba'.

'the bundles of dollars were collected from him after the pictures and video paparazzi because he received little or nothing from the one week long events as he is the bag carrier of the CNE President who contracted him'.

Nearly 250 people have been arrested in Ethiopia’s capital and the main city in its Amhara region since a coup attempt was foiled, state TV reported on Thursday.

Ethiopia has been on edge since twin attacks at the weekend in Addis Ababa and the city of Bahir Dar killed the army chief of staff, the region’s president and three other senior officials.

The violence, which the government says was part of a plot by a rogue general and his militia to take over Amhara, exposed how ethnic tensions are threatening the reform agenda of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.

The state-run Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation did not give any more details on who was arrested or when. But a party based in the northern region – the National Movement of Amhara (NAMA)- earlier said 56 of its members had been detained in Addis Ababa on Wednesday.

The Anambra state police command have arrested a two-man armed robbery syndicate who specialize in stealing the vehicles of residents in the state.

A statement from the command's spokesperson, Haruna Mohammed, says police detectives attached to Central Police Station Onitsha in collaboration with Federal Highway Patrol team attached to Enugu State Police Command, arrested one Ifeanyi Jude, a 25 years old man, in Enugu State.

According to the police, the suspect conniving with his accomplice, 30 year old Okwudili Okoli, stole a Toyota Corolla Car with registration number HRH -01-NEN belonging to His Royal Highness, the Igwe of Adazi Ani Community, Igwe Robert Nwankwo in his compound at No.1 Niger Drive GRA, Onitsha in Anambra State.

The police say the suspects who are all drivers attached to the Igwe, initially denied having any knowledge of such incident when the vehicle was stolen on Monday June 24th until the principal suspect Ifeanyi Jude was intercepted with the vehicle along Nsukka road Enugu before he confessed and also indicted his accomplice.

Haruna said te matter is still being investigated after which suspects would be charged to Court for prosecution.
