The story of Jesus was common knowledge in those days as confirmed by NON CHRISTIAN HISTORIANS EARLIER MENTIONED. yes the gospels were written between 70AD but it does not affect its accuracy. On your claim that the gospel writers were not present during the life of jesus, this is incorrect. Matthew (the tax collector) and John (who also wrote the book of revelation in the isle of patmos where he was exiled to by Rome) were disciples of Christ and this is a settled fact and they wrote the gospels for not to inform people about christ who they already knew, but to write the details if his ministries for the early churches in different parts of rome and not just those in israel. Read acts to see that missionary journeys were embarked upon to far flung places like damascus etc. The gospel writers wrote when they were 60 - 70 years or so. Mark and Luke were alive at the time of Christ. Luke also wrote the book of acts. God bless you

Let me also shock you by saying that several old testament prophets prophesied in exact details, the life, activities, death and resurrection of christ. Do you know that Daniel who lived about 600 years before the birth of christ actually prophesied the exact year that christ would reveal himself to the, world. Please do some research on the prophecy referred to as "THE SEVENTY WEEKS OF DANIEL". I have done extensive research on prophecies about jesus, some as old as 1,000 years which he fulfilled to the letter and they actually form the basis of my belief in christ as a divine being. No one could have fulfilled all those ancient prophecies to the letter except the Christ himself. Quod Erat Demonstrandum (Q.E.D).

There is such a thing known as historical evidence. Those who wrote these things WERE NEVER CHRISTIANS. They were ancient historians who lived AROUND THE TIME OF christ and whose works are highly regarded by even secular modern day historians and constitute veritable source of ancient history. They wrote not only about Jesus but other notable events of those days. Are you also aware of the great persecution of christians in those days by the roman empire when they were thrown to wild beasts for entertainment in the amphi-theatre? This is adequately recorded in history. Please do your own research with secular historical documents and archaeology. The History Channel should have materials on the internet that you can examine

I would like to carry out a quick objective analysis of this case based on my legal background:
1. The lady confirms she is a commercial sex worker which should have at least earned her a conviction for soliciting.
2. It was established that they had sex but the matter in issue is was the sex consensual?
*The man claims that it was but that after the act, he offered a lesser amount than agreed. If this is true he is guilty of patronising a prostitute and she is guilty of prostituting. The court of course can not enforce the illegal contract by insisting the main pays the prostitute in full or at all.
*The woman claims she was raped and if this is true the man was rightfully convicted though jail term shoul have commenced from date of remand for fairness' sake. However let us look at the facts:
We are not told there was a witness to the rape so i will take it there was none so its her word against his...
She did not immediately make a report to the police of the rape to ascertain whether there were bruises on her neck since she claimed he strangled her or any other signs of violence to her body...
She did not immediately report the theft of her phone by the man as she claimed (no mention that she immediately reported the theft)....
It appears she only raised an alarm and reported the matter about a month or so after the alleged rape when she saw him again...
It is my considered opinion that the case of rape has not been proved beyond reasonable doubt. There exists that reasonable doubt that the lady is actually guilty of malicious prosecution because the man did not pay her the agreed sum or any sum at all after the sex The man should therefore have been convicted for a lesser offence of patronising a prostitute based on his own admission in his statement and the lady convicted for soliciting based on her own admission that she is a prostitute and indeed agreed to have sex with a man for a fee.
