My brother, these are indeed some of the telling symptoms of diabetes especially as both parents have it. However it could also be a pointer to some sort of issues with your urinary system especially inflections.
I'd advice that you go ahead and do a urinalysis(test) then let us know about the result.
PS: Its also safe if you begin now to make necessary lifestyle adjustments to your diet. Avoid or limit as much as possible, refined sugars in it's many forms.
Thanks. Recently, my gf went to the hospital because of pains in her stomach all the time. She did some tests and scan and it was revealed that she has candida albican and the doctor prescribed fluconazole and some other drugs and also told her to tell me to use the fluconazole since we usually have unprotected sex. Could this also be part of it?

If you have too much sugar in your body, cut down on sugar and exercise
Your body will use the glucose stored as glycogen for energy when you exercise. And,in consequence, exercise will help you manage your sugar levels effectively.
Thank you for your contribution. I want to ask, if I exercise I hope it won't raise the sugar level? Response needed please
Healthplease help!!! Unexplained Weight Loss by SonOfJames(op):
Hello Nairalanders,
I have been having this problem for a while now, which is continuous weight loss. No matter how much I eat, instead of me to gain weight or even maintain my weight, I loss weight. I have treated malaria and typhoid countless times yet no solution. Recently, I went to my dad's place to spend some time with him. One evening I went to get something for myself. As I was coming back, I was pressed and decided to ease myself only to find my urine foaming. Then I noticed that I usually feel hungry than normal, have headache, urinate more than normal, always thirsty and tired, even when I didn't do anything. So I confided in an female nurse. Who advised me to go and do diabetes test, since she just treated me for malaria and typhoid. I went for the test and the result was 141mg/dl. the medical lab scientist said that the amount of glucose in my body is too high that I should do something about it. Please help me, I'm only 27 years old, too young to have diabetes. Mum and Dad both have it.

Please don't just view and leave, proffer solution.

I observed that I always lose weight, thirsty, feel hungry, have headache and feel tired most times, urinate frequently and its usually foams. So I went to do fasting glucose test, and the result was 141mg/dl
. The Medical Lab Scientist advised me to see a dr immediately. She said it is pre-diabetes. Mum and Dad are both diabetic. Can a 27 year old have it? anytime I eat carbohydrate meal it gets worse.
What can I do pls? I don't want such a thing
