I have read a lot of Obi's comments, speeches even during campaigns. I haven't seen where he used words like it's our turn or it's my turn or tribalised issues. He even told people not vote for him if they're doing it because he is an Igbo.
I think Tinubu is trying to use Umahi to divide Igbos. I haven't seen what brought about Igbo in the coastal lines that many people including Atiku abubakar have criticized too.
How does attacking Obi stop the hunger and hardship Tinubu has brought? Umahi should be wiser. A man with sweet food in the mouth shouldn't forget the bitterness of hunger. Why didn't APC give Umahi ticket if they love him so much? He should be careful. Others had toed that path and came home crying. He sounds more like someone being used to cause trouble and divide Igboland. That's my opinion.

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 election, Peter Obi has described the allegation that he is inciting people of the South-East against the federal government as baseless.

Obi stated this in a statement via his verified X handle on Thursday. Recall that minister of works, David Umahi, while speaking during a stakeholders’ meeting in Lagos on Wednesday, accused Obi of inciting people of the south-east against the federal government over the Lagos-Calabar coastal road project.

Umahi said Obi implemented the demolition of structures for road infrastructure while he was governor of Anambra.

The former governor of Anambra said the allegation is a “baseless distraction,” intended to tarnish his character.

He said his “focus is on fostering constructive dialogue and inclusivity, rather than engaging in divisive politics.”

Obi said he would not reduce himself to the level of those who wallow in ethnic politics.

He stated, “Regarding allegations of incitement against the government, I firmly reject these unfounded accusations aimed at tarnishing my character.

Nigerians must be bold enough to take their destinies seriously and protect their nation from the evil politicians who cause them pains and deaths. We must learn to come out in large number to demand for change including removing clueless leaders.
For instance, if Abuja has 5 million citizens, it will take about 2000, 5000 people to come out for protest and everywhere will shake. If 5000 to 10000 people come out to demand for change, no soldier no matter how stupid will shoot. The number will be so intimidating and the government will listen because it's a big threat. But if the 2000, 5000 or 10000 choose not to protest to demand for change, more than 5million people will suffer or die.
Again, learn to give up for the sake of your nation. Give up a day, an hour designed for protest. It's not one-off thing. If you see people protesting for a good cause join them, call your neighbor on the phone and it makes more sense. If the country becomes better it's for everyone. Don't say it doesn't concern me, Ijaws, Igbos should stay away, allow them to clean their shiiit. This has created room for apathy and laxity on the side of the citizens while things are getting worse. The politicians now see us as captured people and behave worse.
Be intentional in saving your country from human disasters. Create a mini platform with Facebook, Twitter (X), WhatsApp etc where you can reach a lot of people.
Those organizing protects should consider,
Saturday early morning from 7, 8, 9am or public holidays.
Protest can also be Sunday evening. Give it the right name so the police will understand and cooperate like Nigerians can afford common foods, remove students taxes etc.
For those who have the means, print handbills. Nation building is not a joke. It takes a lot of sacrifice. Remember, "Stone Us If We Fail." I think it's time to pick up the stone and hit the street. Stop crying, grumbling and begging for food. Rise up and take your destinies into your hands.

There are four Large Ports in Nigeria:
Lagos.
Port Harcourt.
Warri.
Calabar.
All four were working prior to now, until the backstabbers engineered a systematic ruin of them.

Have been to all four. I'm sure you have not!

Only one is working.. Lagos, that one is making price of goods expensive due to the fact that everyone from Nigeria would flock down there. The foolishness in Making only Lagos port viable is taking a toll in the life of people in Lagos as the roads get damage to continuous haulage. Traffic situations get worsen as Lagos sleep in buses. Federal roads get damage due to cross country movement of containers.

Won't you be happy having all four Ports working?

Let me tell you.....the moment two of the above ports works, 80% of Igbo dominated markets will close, so that Iyalojas and urchins can take over their lands.. Those markets would be built in Ala Igbo which happily enough is closer to any of the other mentioned Ports than accursed Lagos!
