I only gave my opinion base on the op question... I have more than 3 of the 1.4 engine in my shop it's the most common and cheapest golf4 or polo engine ....if you doubt come to my shop lol we are located @ shop 120 iyana itire garage Lagos�

The 1.4L 16valve engine and the 1.6L 16valve engine are almost the same thing the only different between the two are the block engine .one is iron the other is aluminium

Yes it include the spring... golf 4 shocks are usually 6springs but you can replace it with a 7spring shock

I have owned this car for 6 years and it has really served me well over the years but the engine is weak, started emitting smoke, so sometimes in March, I had it ringed, I'm still not comfortable with the job done.

I'm ready to change the car to Tokumbo grade again. I have actually started and I've spent more than 400k on the car from March till now already.

It looks very good already but u want it scanned and get a new Toks engine that would make me enjoy the car till I can afford a new one.

I'm bringing it to Lagos, I don't wanna be scammed or given bad products, who can help me out, I was advised not to go to Ladipo or Itire on my own, I need a VW specialist who can handle my car and bring it back to life.

Your car engine seem to be 1.4 16valve I.e aluminum block engine... If you want to enjoy your car without going through much stress look for a 1.6 16valve Engine I.e iron block engine and buy. Or you convert it to a 2.0 golf 4 engine (you will be needing a complete engine 2.0,brainbox ,complete wire,etc to do this.
