Hey !

Any genuine sponsor is not a red flag . Your sponsor doesn't have to answer your surname. Many orphans and adopted children have been sponsored successfully into America . Honesty and genuiness of purpose is the clue the CO will try to decode .

In this respect, be honest in your DS 160 and verbally but if your mind is saying another thing then you can say ..MY PATERNAL UNCLE (if the person is of age ).

Your uncle or brother may decide to answer other surnames out of your lineage ...court affidavit can clear this doubt .

There is God..don't give up .

God bless you , thank you for your responses

Another one guy’s . Any opinion on this

Just to be on a safer side , I have learnt that using my uncle as my sponsor will raise a red flag 🚩.
In my case can I say my uncle is my brother, since there’s no way to verify my clams . ( like his my step brother because we don’t have same surname )

Or should I just kuku go ahead and be honest .

Please any suggestions

Please 🙏🏾 house any help on this !!

Hey !

Honesty doesn't pay most time . Don't do like the western bred because you are an African .

Naturally a guy bred in the US or UK will tick yes i have been indicted before ...and that doesn't mean that they will say ...Oh ! You have said the truth okay you can go .. No , they would rather place the honest guy on watchful eyes of the cops 😊

In your own case as an African, you were actually did not booked , you were only unlawfully arrested among culprits and later released upon satisfactorily investigated which eventually exonerated you .

Your answer is ..NO ! I have never been arrested or accused of any crime before .

There is God..don't give up .

Thank you so much for your responses. 🙏🏾

Please house, I need urgent suggestions .

I was once arrested by EFCC under wrongful accusation for fraud ( you’ll know how EFCC use to pack boys when Dey rade a compound both the innocent and the main ones) . Also which i was later released after their investigation , because I was innocent obviously so now that I’m applying for a US visa, I don’t know if I should say yes or no , on the portion where it’s been asked “if you have been arrested or convicted of any crime “, but meanwhile I was not convicted neither did I give my fingerprints. since my situation is like this , I don’t know if saying yes will jeopardize my case of getting the visa.
But if I say no now , what if they fish out my name and take it up against me .

Please what should I do ? Someone help me 🙏🏾

A lower COA is always better. Maybe mention the school so people can advise better, as COA is not the only criteria.

Go with the school with the lower COA (the deficit). Do you have an account with approximately 44M? It's easier to believe that you have ~27M than 45M

Thank you for your responses 👏🏿

And no I don’t have 44m BS .

Please 👏🏿 guru’s in the house, I need urgent advise on this matter .

I got admitted in to another university with scholarship worth of $5500, with COA of $32k different from my first school and i have received my i20 .
But the first school that i received my i20 From gave me $22000 scholarship with a COA of $67k but the deficit is higher than the second schools deficit . In other words the COA of the first school is higher than this second school .

I don’t know if its a good idea to switch to the second school with a low COA although the scholarship is not That much , but I’ve apply for more scholarship .

Please i need help to make a good decision

Please someone should help me out with a opinions or suggestions .
