[quote author=Rossikk]I wasn't blaming the athletes either. I was blaming the poster. You say 'everything is crumbling' but I don't see 'everything crumbling'. I just see people like you claiming everything is crumbling while sat on your fat assses doing nothing to assist the country. Sports being one example. WHY ARE YOU not an Olympic athlete? You sit behind your computer expecting others to go and win medals for you and when they don't you say the country is crumbling. It is YOU that's crumbling. You and all those well fed middle class Nigerians who were raised to believe that sports is for paupers, and the underclass. Well guess what? The underclass lack your nutrition, strength and confidence to take on the world. It is the well fed middle classes, fed on beef, chicken and cornflakes all their lives that should be out there competing for gold on the world stage, and even working in sports administration, training etc, but no, after attending our elite secondary schools, we all abandoned sports (no matter how good we were at it) to become lawyers, doctors, engineers, IT specialists, and then when the dregs of society are left to be our sportsmen and officials, we moan about a ''crumbling country'' when they don't bring home the gold. But it is you that is crumbling, not Nigeria. Go back to your air-conditioned office. The mode of selection of the participant is corupt so most guys are kind of discouraged to go for it.

PoliticsRe: Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala Is An Untruthful Finance Minister? by Spandy(m): 1:41pm On Jul 31, 2012
dvee2: I didnt read any sense in all this your write up. Yes i agree with madam that there is no where in the world that the budget can be implemented 100 percent. it is almost impossible to achieve. Also we have a history in Nigeria where money released for capitalproject are spent without doing the job. so i support her gradual release of the money while monitoring their performance. Unless you are one of the agent of the legislooters who are doing all these impeachment threat not for the benefit of the masses, but because of their consituency allowance which they cant wait to start stealing from. On a final note i can only fault madam Ngozi on the external debt point. madam you were instrumental to our exiting the paris debt by making nigeria pay over 40 billion dollers at once which some economist faulted as not too good economic judgement. but we supported you and now you precide over a ministry that have gone back to take nigeria back into debt again. over 40 billion external debt and still rising? haba madam God dey look wuna.is that sound economics?
this a constructive criticism,i like this! thumbs up!

The truth is simple, our leaders love other developed country more than nigeria. in ghana, the late president ata mills died in a ghanian hospital, this shows how much he believed in his country. i think gej should curtail some unecesary trips, stay back and focus more on moving the country forward
