Career › Re: Is 100k A Good Salary In Abuja? by Spectrumma(m): 11:37am On Dec 19, 2024 |
Hormorlarah: Hello everyone, please I need advice on a decision I need to make.
I'm a fresh grad and I got an IT internship role in Abuja. I'm currently in Niger State but no jobs here at all. I've tried out a few businesses and all failed. The internship comes with a monthly salary of 100k, and I must be around Lugbe, so I need to rent a single room...My question is, considering the current cost of living in Abuja, will 100k be enough at all? Also, I will be going for NYSC in the next 2-3 months, which means my allawee will be an addition. I'm currently a cloud/software engineering student. My plan is to be able to work remotely one day, but I need something to sustain me for now. I need realistic advice. Thanks
NB: I know my standard of living is a factor here. I don't party or follow trends. I'm not materialistic. I wear what I have, I eat protein when I see and I only make friends of knowledge. it's not to be frank. Just feeding alone will make that money vanish |
