I wouldnt blame the multinational companies, the main crook are the king and village elders. Dont be surprise the companies paid for that road or bridge many times and the king insist they must give him the contract. I have worked for a company were we pay the king almost $100000 monthly for development and nothing was done in the community, its as bad as that. the king and chiefs are all millionaires building hotels in the city but leave their villages poor. Thats the reality on ground.
