They used the Federal Police which is also Tinubu's police to subdue him, police even sprayed water on him.

Fubara might have stood a better chance if Wike didn't have 27 of the 31 lawmakers under lock and key.
He bought all their forms and put them all in the assembly, in addition he still had access to funds as Minister to keep them happy.

Despite that, Tinubu was the major player that defeated Fubara, not Wike.


U do not blame Fubara for losing, at a point he fought gallantly but again he was fighting Tinubu.

My only grouse with him is that he should have resigned like a man instead of being humiliated and tossed like a dirty piece of rag.
Imagine him now being forced to go and campaign for OK Chinda, the man who is being brought as his replacement while every other first term governor is being returned.
