Any update from Mcgill and mcf. Applications to the school directly ends January 15th. Has anyone received any mail from them this year?

I got an email from MCF McGill this morning instructing me to proceed with my application. I just submitted my application and the application fee was waived.

Ok, there's hope then. I thought Nigeria wasn't eligible for the fee waiver.

Heard ASU has started sending rejection mails. Has anyone received a mail to the next stage yet?

I received an email tonight stating that I am eligible for an application fee waiver, as outlined below

Good day,
After careful review of your application, we are pleased to inform you that you qualify for a fee waiver to facilitate the completion of your application process. To proceed with the fee waiver, please create an account on the McGill University Graduate Application Portal.

Please do not apply for admissions yet.
At this stage of the process, you only need you to create an account, please do not take any further steps on the McGill admissions portal. It is important to note that if you start an application now, it will create difficulties in applying your fee waiver.

We will contact you again soon to let you know when you can apply.
Creating your McGill account should only take a few minutes. Kindly complete this initial step by Monday, December 16th, 2024. Please email us to confirm once you have created your McGill account. We will then be able to assign a fee waiver to your account. We will contact you again to proceed with the application process.

Due to the large volume of applicants, the selection process is still ongoing. Recipients of a fee waiver will be contacted on a rolling basis.

Are we certain they will stick to the timelines? Asking because the deadline for most programs (apart from a select few) is January.
